? CONFUSED!! AMPS is Normal but PMPS is High Readings

The 7U is way too much insulin, and Tiger is dropping even lower during the PM cycle and you aren't catching it?

Agreed that 7 units is too much. You may have broken through some glucose toxicity and now Tiger needs less insulin. Anytime you have to continually skip a dose, it's a good idea to try a lower dose so you can get two shots in a day.

Food is the same. Lasix, B12 and Zobaline an hour after he eats his breakfast. 12hrs later he gets another Lasix..nothing else. So, you think I need to do more testing? Like every 3hrs or so? Man...I'm already exhausted by everything else going on with my other furbabies.

I'm sure his PMPS will be high so should I drop it down to 6.5u's? I was told only drop in small amounts. And what if his AMPS is low tomorrow? What amount then???? UGH!!!!!!!!!

Set an alarm is one option to get that before bed test.
Or adjust your shot times is another option.
