Yesterday

Still holding at our 1u, after yesterday's greens. This morning is cycle 9 at that dose.

ETA: I forgot to add that I stabbed myself pretty deep with the insulin-filled syringe this morning and in my little frenzy to get it out of my finger, pressed the plunger a bit :(. First time I've done this with insulin in the syringe. I'm making myself hot chocolate with extra maple syrup in it...just in case :)

Oh no! Sorry to hear you gave yourself a shot today...although 1 unit is pretty small for hoomans...I've never had the pleasure...and don't want to start...I've poked myself a few times with the lancet - and always take the opportunity to get a test...never waste a drop of blood around here...ghoulish huh?

Well, enjoy your hot chocolate! Come on Butters, get back to that lagoon...enough with the lemons already :)

I figured I'd just use the insulin dose as an excuse to have a nice, sugary breakfast. Kinda forgot that I could actually just check my own blood sugar :oops:. My test strips are soooo expensive here....I dunno if I want to "waste" one on me. Ah, maybe I'll use just one:smuggrin:.

I hope this is just a bounce and Butters breaks it soon. Paws crossed.

Oh, I hear ya...I used to cringe with all the strips we'd use...and cringe some more when I'd check my 'inventory' and it made me so tense when I got low on strips - I just had this image in my head that we'd run out in the middle of a snowstorm or some other inconvenient time...you never run out of something conveniently! So I switch to the OneDrop system...they send me unlimited strips for $49.95 a month...let me know if you're interested in looking into that system. I've had great results with their company - they send me replacement meters anytime I have an issue - and once a year they send a whole new kit...(meter, strips, etc.)..so now I feel like I can spare a few strips for myself and DH when there's a drop of blood 'on the loose' :)

Ohhhh boy I cannot wait for winter and the stress of worrying if I have enough supplies in a snow or ice storm. lolol. I may be interested. I'll send you a PM about it, in case it is too off topic.

Let's hope she breaks this bounce quick. Last blue she saw produced ~2.5 cycles of high #s. If she holds true to her last bounce she may give you some action tonight:banghead:

LOL. Staring at my finger as I accidentally pushed insulin into it had to have some benefit. I used it as an excuse to eat sugary treats all day long:smuggrin::smuggrin:.

Discouraging PMPS +2. I think it indicates that there will likely be no action tonight. We are back in the 300s:rolleyes:. Oh Butters. I guess nothing to do but wait it out.
