Nice blues today... and even nicer greens you saw for the past couple of days. How are you liking three units?

I hope you are having a good day! We've been getting the roof on our house replaced today, and they've been at it all day so far (with a little break for lunch). When I left the house briefly earlier today the security alarm was set off from the noise (a glass break sensor,) and I was getting calls on my cell phone about it -- ADT was able to tell the police not to come! I came home quickly. The cats are pretty unhappy about it! At least they expect to be finished by noon tomorrow.

Poor poor kitties! I’m sure they hated the alarms going off! Mine freak out when the doorbell rings.

Ruby likes 3 units. I was thinking of increasing a few days ago and she went green. I am happy with these flat blue numbers today. I may move her dose up a smidge but DBF is going to be away this Friday and Saturday while I am working so it’s not the best moment to push the envelope. We shall see.

Big hugs to you Suzanne! Good luck with the roofing!:bighug:

Blue start for Ruby-doo today. Saw her do ten consecutive little kitty sneezes yesterday and this morning when I picked her up from her cat bed she sniffled and didn’t eat much at breakfast. I ordered some Lysine after I had recommended it to @Debra and Jill (the cat) the other day for Jill’s URI and it’s arriving today, so we will see if it helps with her cold.

Have a great day, everyone! :bighug:
Where did you get your lysine? Bama tends to get these sneezing episodes, sniffling and eyes watering once or twice a year. I have been giving him an l-lyzine chew but I don't like the extra ingredients.

I got her Viralys in powder form that I am mixing into her food. I looked at the ingredients and they looked fine to me, mostly animal digest to make it palatable. I avoid the chews because there are probably carbs in there that aren't good for sugar kitties. She hasn't tried her food yet so I don't know if it's a success or not. I'll let you know. :)

Bama Kitty's vet usually prescribes Famciclovir in 50 mg. tablets. Instructions are to give 1/2 tablet every 8 hours for 5 days then twice daily for 10 days. He usually responds to it within 5 days. I have been known to dose him for 6 or 7 days and keep the rest for the next go around. Vet says it is viral. He first came down with it 2 years ago within a couple weeks of having been at the vet's office and receiving the FVRCP vaccine in his right shoulder which caused a giant [quarter-sized] scab to appear on his leg. Scared me to death when I found it. Apparently, he had a reaction to that vaccine which is supposed to protect against feline respiratory diseases such as viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus and panleukopenia. So, naturally I wonder if the vaccine didn't start the whole problem. :(
