My question today: Is it possible that Pino is not so hungry as he was before? Before (20-14 days ago) he would eat everything U would give him at any time. He could even eat every hour. Now I have to carry him to the dish so he would eat and even then he doesn't eat everything. But I did noticed that when he is hungry he goes himself and eats everything that is in the dish. He is now sleeping all night, isn't searching for food or attention at night.

I wonder if that is because he is becoming a little bit regulated or if he is angry about the visit at the vet (he really doesn't like to ride and go to the vet) or because I am goving him Plavix every night (he doesn't like to swallow pills) or if that means that he is not okay?

He is looking just fine as same as always, yesterday he was playing and running for about 30 minutes.

Cats do see a significant reduction in appetite when they go from really high numbers to normal numbers. In high numbers they cannot process the food they eat and are therefore always hungry. He is more than a "little bit regulated" now! He is almost always in normal numbers :)

Do you see a significant reduction in appetite since you started the Plavix? How are you giving it to him? With food?

No, as I said I think when he is really hungry he wants food and eats everything. For example tonight he ate a snack at +5 and then woke me up at +9.5 because he was hingry and he ate everything. Even when I give him extra snacks (to keep his BG higher) he eats it but not the whole 2tsp but maybe just 1 and then goes later to eat that 1 that he left before.

I am giving him Plavix direct in mouth. I am scared if I give him with food he would not eat anything because he really doesn't like the pills.
I also thought that it may be the problem higher carb food because he is not si used to get so much carb and I also have struggle finding high carb that he would really like.

Sounds like you don't have to worry. Just reduce his portion sizes so that he eats when you want him to. A tsp of food after a test is enough. How is he on the weight front? At his deal weight or needs to lose/gain weight?

Will try that. He is stable all the time from October when he came from hospital - 135pounds (6,2kg).

Did Pino have a blood clot? If not why Plavix?

@tiffmaxee he was at cardiologist and had heart ultrasound on monday. As I understood her she gave him Plavix to prevent blood clots. We have next appointment at the cardiologist in 6-8 months to see how he is doing. If needed we can bring him earlier. :cat:
