? Fistuk 7/2 AMPS 103, +4 115 ::DOSE

Hello everyone :=)

Fistuk has been trending up over the past week and some. I was super busy, didn't get to post and didn't want to up his dose when i can't monitor.

His +3 been blue for too long. The lowest he got on this dose (2.25U) was +7 59 on June 22 and 61 PMPS three days ago.

This morning and two nights ago he peed on the floor :/ I'll pick up from the vet tonight the cranberry extract for the unitary trackt increase his developing an infection. Last time it worked wonders.

Should I increase to 2.5U?

Next week on Monday we're leaving for. holiday for a week. I was thinking of keeping the dose because we're going away but we'll have a couple staying over and they'll monitor Fistuk more or less as much as i do. So perhaps it's ok to increase?

Other than that Fistuk is cute as ever., enjoying the sun when she graces us between rainy days.

I am curious to see the answers you will have, I learn reading this kind of discussion!
I would tend not to increase just now, if he has an infection that could explain his numbers, and he went low a few days ago at this dose, but you still have a week to see how he does, so why not? That's great that you found people to stay with him!

If he does have a uti which with peeing outside the box suggests that I would see if the bg goes up any higher and increase if that happens. You don’t want to see ketones from the infection. Is he eating and Dr well?

Fistuk eats and drinks well and as of today we're increasing the amount of water added to his food.
I took a ketons test this evening and it's 0!! Phew.
I took a pee test and sent the pics to the vet. I'll wait to see if she wants me to bring the urine for a test too.
