Quite a bounce to start the day. I guess because she dipped overnight to some lower numbers then she’s had, it created a bounce. Hopefully she’ll come down from that and move on.

I may give a slight increase tomorrow morning based on how she does today since it will be three days from her PFS and I would like her Depot to rebalance.
Wishing everyone a boring Sunday, I hope you all get to relax and the kitties surf safely.

Stay cool everyone, it’s been soooo hot

Wow, seems like she is not in the mood for an increase! And she already had nice numbers last night. I hope she stabilizes a bit so you don't have to feed all day. Maybe that is her way of getting some of the delicious high carb food? :cat:

Wow, Staci!
Ivy is in the fast lane this morning!
She wanted to join her friends who were gathering at the beach! :D
Hope she slows a bit and stays in the dark green! :bighug::bighug::bighug:
Apparently so, so much that she crashed her Sensor. Sigh. And it was quite a fight to get a new one on her. (Usually not a problem, but I tried to ear poke her first, bad move)
Hope you’re having a good day, Kit and Mikan!:bighug::bighug::cat:

I think you’re right, Heike! She heard the rumor and decided to challenge me with low numbers and a crash of the Libre!
Hope you are having a calm Sunday :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Ohhhhhh, no.... So strange the libre can not handle these lower numbers! Last time it also happened, when she was low. Must have been so stressful! Hope the night cycle is a bit more gentle and you can rest well! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I agree, Heike. Sometimes these low cycles just seem to fry the sensor. And she was unusually combative today. Normally, she just lets me put a new one on pretty easily. (Plus she needs a nail trim very badly, which was on my agenda today before all of this. Now that plan has to wait until she calms down.)
Hoping shot time is calmer.
And now she’s bounced very high.
Hoping for a calmer night ahead.
Hope you’re having a peaceful night, too :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Staci, I hope Ivy clears the bounce and calms down for shot time.
Sorry the nail trim will have to wait. Be a good girl for your mama tonight Miss Ivy :cat: I hope you both have a nice relaxing night :bighug::bighug::bighug::cat:

Hi Staci, what a task to trim her nails! Binie would eat me alive! Thank god, so far she takes care of it herself. Do you have something wooden for Ivy to scratch? I found out that works best. Binie has a wooden house on the terrasse and over the years she really curved out some of the wood. And next to the house I find the caps of her nails, she chipped off.

Look what I found in the internet, he looks so proud about what he did:

I really hope Ivy calms down for shot time and the rest of the day will be less stressful! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Oh my look at that kitty sitting up there. He is proud of himself :)

Ivy has a scratching post but prefers my couches and ottomans. (Bad kitty)
I’ve always trimmed her nails myself since she still requires trims. The post and couches don’t do a good enough job.
I’m glad Binie’s setup does a good job so you don’t have to. You are very lucky.
I usually make sure to wear long sleeves when I go in for the trim (I wear my battle gear, lol).

Hi Staci :)
Looks like Ivy kept you on your toes today :bighug:
I hope Ivy finds a stable streak of dark greens.
Goos luck with the I if you decide to give it :bighug::bighug::bighug:
Hi Shelly, thank you. I am gonna see what she does after today’s green streak. I’ll see how it goes and then decide on that covert “I” thing.
Have a nice night. And safe travels :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I'm all about boring/lazy days lately!

I feel so lucky that Tiger never has scratched furniture. None of the three we’ve had ever did. We built a scratching ottoman for them.
Made a wood box, added store bought legs. Then I added foam and heavy upholstery fabric. We then took heavy jute rope and wrapped the bottom half. They love(d) it and never touch the furniture! We’ve replaced the rope a couple times but it lasts a long time.
As for nails I use my finger nail clippers which he doesn’t mind as much as pet clippers. I also have the vet clip them when we change sensors cause they do it free!

Hello Staci and Ivy!
Looks like she kept you very busy today. Especially with the sensor change.
She did so well in the am and then decided to shoot for the stars. Maybe she heard her bestie Mikan was visiting space amd wanted to join for a double adventure.
Looks.like she's coming down in the PM cycle so hopefully she continues on this trend, just not too low.

Wishing you a calm night.

Ohhhhh.... I hope the manicure went well! :bighug::bighug::bighug: Binie also loves scratching couches. Especially if I don't open the door to go out fast enough.......:cat:
