Good morning,
Ivy had a bounce yesterday after her all night low Green Party on Tuesday night. Last night was all yellow on her Libre so I slept In bed. Yay for small wins!! :bighug:

This morning it appears she’s going much lower. Appears she’s breaking her bounce.
looks like I will have an active cycle today.

I’m supposed to go to a family dinner tonight at sister in law’s home after I feed Ivy dinner and her shot. She lives around 35ish minutes away.

I would feed her higher carbs if I go. Will have to wait to see if I think she’s stable enough for me to go. Maybe my son stays home to watch her. Not yet sure. Everything is always tentative and based on Ivy and her safety.
If I can’t go then (boo hoo)

Have a safe day everyone :cat:

Hi Staci,

so glad you slept in your bed last night! Even Ivys bounces are still good numbers. So great. I hope she behaves today and you can go to your sister in law's place without any worry.

How is Ivys tummy today? Everything normal again I hope?

Hope you have a nice day! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Good morning Staci,
Yay yay yay to sleeping in your own bed!
Gotta take what you can, while you can! ;)

Ivy is already on the move down - I hope she gets down to the beach for a nice play day and a steady trend for the evening.
That's one of the hardest things - we just can't know what we can and can't, particularly in the early cycle. Family happens, friends happen, and dinner happens.
I hope Ivy gives you an easy day. Our girls are just so unpredictable and dramatic

Happy Thursday and hope you have a lovely day! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Bed? Sleep? Had to look these words up, but glad you got to experience them for a while. Also happy Ms Ivy is breaking the bounce; hope she slides down safely.
"Everything is always tentative"...truer words were never spoken...:bighug::bighug:

Hi Heike,
Ivy will decide if I’m allowed to go out tonight :)

Yes, it felt soooo good to be in bed

Her tummy seems ok. Although she did have another fur puke this morning. But I believe that’s a different thing than that foamy puke yesterday.

I hope you and Binie are having a calm day and she’s feeling well today!
How is her tummy and poops? Doing ok on the meds?

Hi Kit, yes, I absolutely have learned to savor sleeping in my bed since it is kind of rare, especially during some periods. We seem to go through waves of lots of nights in a row on the sofa and those are quite rough. I was in bed by 9:45 last night since she seemed to be trending higher.
DH always looks at me like “where are you going?” and I’m like….…”She’s higher, I gotta go see ya, bedtime for me” :p

Will see what happens today and tonight. Everything is tentative in my life. Oh well. I’ve accepted it.

Thanks for your support Kit. I appreciate it. Hope you have a great, virus -free day :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I read that it can take them several days to evacuate hair balls, sometimes, so who knows, maybe yesterday;'s puke was her trying to get it out already.
I hope you can go to your dinner. Although I am not sure if you really want to, reading you! :p

I know Christine, Those words are a little elusive in our lives aren’t they sad but true but no other choice.

I try to put it into perspective and be thankful that I have a space which is comfortable and warm and cozy that I can spend the night to take care of her.

It’s not lost on me that what if we never finished the basement and it was cold damp and disgusting. Now that would be horrible.

I hope you and the herd have a calm, stable and peaceful day :bighug::bighug::bighug:

You read me quite well Cecil.
I think you know me well enough after all this time that you can sort of read between the lines. If I go fine, if I don’t go, that’s OK too.

Ivy does a bit of fur pulling and then she seems to puke up a good batch of fur. Some of it does make it through her digestive tract into her poops but she seems pretty good at puking it back up. But the other puke was more foamy and bile. I have a sneaky suspicion. It was from all the feeding overnight that seemed to catch up with her. Hoping it was just a one off.

Hope you and Bella have a great day. Thanks for Your thoughts :bighug:

Hi Staci,
so glad Ivys tummy is well! So it was just overeating with delicious lamb roast. Binies tummy seems to be fine. No puking, just less appetite. But if it stays like that, we can manage.

So far Ivy looks quite stable. She is doing this colour blocking thing again. :)

Have a nice day! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

So glad you've caught up on your sleep, Staci, at least somewhat. Who could blame you for wanting to stay home and chill after the week you've had?? Looks like Ivy is riding a blue wave today, and that's great. Wishing you a day of calm waters and smooth sailing! :bighug::cool::cat:

Hi Heike, hoping her tummy was just a one time thing. We never know!
I’m relieved that Binie is eating well. Paws crossed that continues!

On my way to dinner. Fed her 12% and hope she stays in blues while I’m out! Love a good blue and green color block.:D
Hope you are having a quiet night and maybe even sleeping :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I don’t think I’ll ever catch up on sleep Karen :blackeye:
But I’ll consider a night in bed as a huge help!
It’s been quite a week. Even if it is Fake Friday ;)
Hope you and Chispa have a nice night! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I'm glad you were able to get out to dinner tonight! I hope it was a great time.
Ivy seems to have had a pretty good AM cycle, and now she's behaving so you could go out - so nice of her! :bighug:

I got lucky that she behaved and we were home by +3.5. She just happened to be a bit higher and I’m sure the higher carbs fed helped. (Although sometimes when she’s very low and I feed 12%, it doesn’t mean a dang thing. If she’s on a dive mission, she just keeps diving).
