Good morning,
Ivy had a mostly yellow cycle yesterday and some blues late cycle overnight. She did have higher carbs for dinner yesterday since we went out.
Back to all 6% today as long as she’s stable.
It looks like she’s already coming down this morning. Maybe breaking her yellow bounce?
I’ll be busy in the kitchen today. Have to prep some of her food and cooking dinner, having my dad and his wife over for dinner.
It’s always tricky to entertain in this FD world.
I serve dinner then half hour later get things ready to feed and medicate/give insulin (am gone for 1/2 hour).
It’s not the best scenario but what can you do? I do that best I can given all the balls to juggle

Hope everyone has a relaxing day and a safe surf :cat:

Hi Staci,

so nice Ivy is seeing already some blue!:cool::cool: And glad you could go out yesterday without too much worries.

Yes, having guests is more complicated. But they come to see how you are doing and be part of your life and taking care of Ivy is part of your life. I'm sure they will be fine waiting for you and manage to entertain themselves.

I hope cooking goes well and you have a lovely evening with your dad and his wife! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I was thinking recently that I can do all that pretty fast, now. At the beginning it took me so long to test, feed, prepare her insulin, shoot... now it can be as short as 5 minutes. Especially in the morning on weekends when i want to go back to bed :coffee:
I hope your evening goes well!

Oh wow! I wish I could do this! On the weekend I would love to go back to bed but after preparing everything and injecting I am fully awake. And it takes me around 20 minutes or more. Good to know, it gets easier... :cat:

:kiss::kiss::kiss::kiss::kiss::kiss: How sweet that Ivy is trying to help with the kitchen :)
Hope Ivy stays stable while you are busy prepping and entertaining today!
Yes, it's always tricky to attend to so many different things! Hope all goes well and you get to enjoy yourself too!
Happy Sunday and have a great day, Staci and Ivy :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
