She tested at 76 on the 3rd test so I went ahead and shot the reduced dose 1.75. Im syringe feeding her so she eats enough. Will test in an hour.

When did she last eat? She might drop further without food.
Last night, I fed her the treats at +2 I think. For some reason I didnt write down the time. Im pretty sure tho because she had dropped again from 95 at +1 to 74 at +2 and I wanted to make sure she didnt drop further and she wouldnt eat anything else on her own.
I gave the shot after the 3rd test this morning, which was at 76.

Try and keep her hungry so she'll eat every hour. Either myself or @Bandit's Mom will be around :bighug:
I syringe fed her because she doesnt eat well in the morning. She has Pancreatitis as well and gets Ondansetron and Mirataz for nausea and appetite stimulant. Shes just been thru a flare and wasnt eating for almost a week. But started eating on her own a couple days ago, so the meds should kick in soon and she should eat fine the rest of the day. Her appetite still isnt up to normal yet tho so shes eating less, which might have an effect on the BG too. I will syr feed again if I have to.

Is she getting ondansetron every 6 hours?
You know I run the Cats with Pancreatitis group on Facebook. I give this advice to people on there all the time, but when it comes to my own cats, Im a bit brain dead. haha.

Lots of green going on here. :D Don't forget to show it on the spreadsheet for today.;)

I agree on upping the frequency of ondansetron. But glad to hear she's starting to eat a bit on her own. Getting over p'titis means less inflammation, hence her dose needs dropping.

I added the numbers so far to the SS. I did lower the dose to 1.75 this morning. You mean lower it more? She hasnt dropped below 50.

I'm not suggesting dropping her insulin dose again, just explaining why she got tired of 2.0 units.

Oh ok. It makes sense that the Pancreatitis would effect her BG. And I always thought it would although I hadnt seen how until now. The flare started on 10/10 which was the day I raised the dose to 2.25. I had to lower it back down to 2 in 5 cycles tho. The fact that after that I wasnt getting much from that dose makes sense and once the inflammation went down, I started seeing that the dose was in fact too high for her. Good to know for the future and also my advice on my Cats with Pancreatitis FB page. You learn something new every day, as they say. Thanks!
