Good evening,

we are back in the boucing land but as @bluesunshine noticed correctly, the bounce is not as bad as it could have been. Seems like the increase also helped for that.

Now I am a bit nervous how tomorrow will be when I am away. I am super grateful I don't have to leave early so I don't have to stuff her with high carbs just in case she goes low. I have to leave the house at +3.5 so I will already know what is going on and if I have to give high carbs or low carbs is enough.

Thank you for noticing, we get better at doing ear pricks! Seems like Binie finally gave in and accepted it as what she has to give for some churrus. Even though, I am happy my neighbor has the libre tomorrow and as long she is not super low on the libre it will all work out.

Safe surf to everyone! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Heike,
Wishing you and Binie lots of good luck tomorrow. Your plan sounds very good.

Binie will be happy her friend is coming for a visit.
I’m so glad Binie is letting you do some ear pricks in Exchange for Churrus. Good girl!

Wishing you both a restful sleep. Good luck with work tomorrow!
Sending hugs to you both :bighug::bighug::bighug:

By now you are probably back home—I hope all went well—you had a great plan so I’m sure it did.
Oh, was it a fur shot? Well it kept her from too low but I know how sad that must have made you. I cried when it happened to me. At least she’s safe while you’re gone and you can regroup when you return. When it happened to me I actually was off schedule anyway so took advantage and shot his next dose an hour early ( my vet has said if needed the shot can vary up to an hour on occasion but I try to avoid that because even 30 minutes seems to throw him off.

I hope Binie is back to blue soon!:bighug::bighug::bighug:

Oh so sorry about the FS, Heike. But Colleen is right. She stated safer than you had hoped for :(

You’ll get right back on track. You know it happens and nothing we can do.
Sending you :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Binie will be ok. Hope you are home and you are both ok!! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thank you so much Staci! My neighbor came to visit her even though I told her I did a fur shot and she will not go low. So nice, isn't it?

I hope you and Ivy are well. I will check on you later! :kiss:

Great job, Heike! I hope tomorrow will be stress-free for you.

Thank you so much Seth! The stress was different than expected. Instead of "Oh, I hope she does not go too low." :nailbiting: to "Oh no, poor Binie, I did a fur shot." :( When I looked through your ss I saw you never did a fur shot. How do you do this? What is your secret? Such a great job! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thank you so much Colleen! I tried my best this morning to tell me it is o.k. and it happens. But I feel like crying now because I feel it can always happen again. Yes, also try not delay shots too much. There are so many things I don't have influence on so I try to use this little bit of influence.... Hope you are having a good day with Methos! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thank you so much Staci. I tried to tell me that too. Even though it is never a good day for a furshot, today was better than any other day, when I can monitor her. But it did not help much. I would have preferred to be nervous about getting too low than feeling bad she is high all day because I made a mistake. But seems this happens. :rolleyes:

I felt that way about my pet sitter. I then found out they adored her because she let them up on the kitchen counter and fed them handfuls of treats.

Hhhhh..... might be similar here. After days with my neighbor Binie usually doesn't eat much for dinner. :) But she is also super sweet with Binie. I can see how Binie is reacting on her.

I am sorry... I think it is a little easier with Bell since she has shorter hair (i think) than Binie. I use the roll method, which maybe helps? I could just be lucky :)

Sorry about the fur shot Heike but it happens to everyone. If nothing else it was a good day for it.
Brush it off and move on……you do great !
Have a great night!

Look at her, blue already! You’re doing an amazing job with her Heike, no one could do better. You inspire me. Hugs for one of you, chin scratches for the other. You can choose :)
