Hello good morning,

Butch surfed yellow last night with a yellow AMPS. I am spending Christmas Eve away from home about an hour away. I will have someone who will stay with Butch to scan him (Libre) and I'll monitor. Hopefully, no shenanigans! I am planning to measure his insulin in the syringe and keep it in the refrigerator so they can shoot his PM. I hope that is okay because I don't trust anyone measuring!

We got a little snow this morning, but it has already stopped. Traveling shouldn't be bad, minus the traffic

sounds like a very good plan! I read that some say the insulin can degrade if it is pre-filled but as far as I understood, it depends how long before you do it so it should be fine. And anyhow, I think a bit less potency for one evening is better than a dosing mistake. So I think you do a great job to keep Butch safe! I hope he behaves well, while you are away.

Butch had a green cycle and was blue when I left. He bounced to the moon for his PMPS.
I was so busy and exhausted on Christmas, I never posted. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and that you were able to visit with your father.
