Good evening,
we had a higher than usual day and I decided to make the overdue increase to 3.25 IU in the evening. Unfortunately I made a stupid mistake - I gave the shot one hour too early.
This made me quite nervous about her +2 but she stayed flat so far.
I went through her ss and usually I don't see any effect of an increase before three or four cycles. So hopefully tonight nothing happens and my mistake has no consequences. Tomorrow night we have to stay up anyway, because some neighbors usually go mad with fireworks.
The skin where the libre was got better. The hard "reptile skin" fell almost completely off. The skin itself is discoloured and there are still a lot of flakes of dead skin. I feel I should definitely wait longer before placing a new libre - this time without skin tak wipes, which most likely have caused this problem.
She opened up some skin on her breast again. Today I was able to inspect it and there are scabs and it feels dry. So hopefully we get by with it but it seems she always opens them up again.
My vet comes back on the 7th of January and I will schedule an appointment for Binie for bloodwork and to talk about the overall situation.
Hope all the kittys surf safe tonight!
