Hello,

last days have been quite messy somehow. We had two days with unexpected low amps and I was reducing against the slgs rules because I had to be away from home during two days and I was nervous not to monitor. To make things worse I did another fur shot. :(

On Thursday she got antibiotics for the last time. We'll see, how this is affecting the situation. Unfortunately more days away from home are coming. I hope the next days she will stabilize and then I'll see if I increase her again.

Thank god she is eating well again but caused herself some more open spots on her breast and under the arm. Seems there is always something...

The stress of knowing I’m going to have to be away from home combined with the unpredictability of our cats is really tough. Hang in there, Heike! Thinking of you and Binie.
 
Do you have a pet camera set up so you can watch her. That really puts my mind at ease while I'm gone (and I'm gone and lots due to the nature of my job).
Hopefully everything goes well.

I was thinking about you this week and that you manage to keep Bell safe under these difficult work circumstances. This gave me hope, we can also manage. Thank you so much for your support Seth! :bighug::bighug::bighug:
 
Hi Heike! Wonderful to hear she is eating well. It makes it easier to to be calmer giving the insulin.
I’m so sorry to hear she has opened those old wounds again. I pray you can find an answer for that.
Sorry you have more travel days coming up. I know it’s hard being away from our babies. You really should look into getting a camera for while you’re away. They are pretty cheap nowadays and easy to set up. Well worth it for a bit of peace of mind.

Hi Deb, thank you so much for checking on us! :bighug::bighug::bighug: I have two cameras which I can control over my phone. They just don't tell me that much about her bg. I wish I could put the libre back on and I can monitor her bg remotely. But her skin still seems to have a problem. :(

How is sweet Tiger doing? I see has some nice blue numbers again! :cool::cool::cool:
 
Hi Heike. Great to hear that Binie is eating well. I am sorry that she opened the wounds on her breast again.
I know the feeling about there always being something and how stressful it is to be away from our babies.
Her numbers will come back!

Hi Heike! It's good to read that Binie is eating better. Not about her skin, though :(
Don't worry too much about her numbers, it's important that she is safe and you need to have some peace of mind when you are gone, too!
