I was lying in bed and heard Sunny vomiting -- and then heard a thud. He had vomited up a hairball and passed out. I ran over to him and roused him - and he grumbled a little and woke up. I carried him upstairs and he was purring like a motor boat. took his BG which was 150. I fed him and now I'm watching him - he's walking around the house - and seems a little slow like he's still groggy.
He had a vet visit Friday and the vet said everything looked good -- but we are still waiting on bloodwork which I should get this week.
I did have another cat in the past who fainted from vomiting and she was alright - had her checked out by the vet at the time and they couldn't find anything wrong. they said it can happen just from hard vomiting, which makes sense.
I'm going to watch Sunny closely today. I'd like to avoid the emergency vet $$$ if we can since it's Sunday.
