Yesterday

Phew, was up most of the night making sure Bell was safe, but she did squeak out a reduction (the gods of meter variance smiled upon me yesterday... errr this morning). Based on that +1 I figured I'd come back to her to the moon, but she's just bounced around in the 200s today. I'll take it.

Still not eating while I'm not here. grrrr. Didn't throw up today at least. I have been syncing a recording up to her feeder, but still no dice. We troubleshoot and move on.

She is very cuddly when I get home from work. I plop down and the ground and she comes running to sit on my lap. She's lucky she's such a sweetie :p

Bell told me she wanted to add a profile shot to her portfolio:

Hi Seth, I can relate to the not eating when not home. Ugh.. I have just returned to having to work in the office and my Kitty doesn’t always eat either. :( My commute is also about an hour to and from work so I can’t even come home to check on her. Makes things hard to manage for sure.

Please tell Bell her profile pic is purrfect! She’s a beauty! :cat:

Thank you so much, Kat. It really helps me feel less alone here. The back to full time stuff is beyond ridiculous for me - I get about half as much done as I did at home. And I’m just constantly stressed about her numbers, especially since she’s been bouncing all around.

Sorry you are in the same (or worse!) boat… I hope Trixie is one of our cats who is super stable and predictable. I’ll send ideas over if I figure anything out :p

Hi Seth, sorry to hear it’s been so rough lately. You’re doing such a great job with her. I know it’s such a challenge especially having to be out of the house. It’s so ridiculous. :(
I’m hoping Bell will want to eat for you while you’re out of the house. It’s a rough situation. I wish I had a good answer. I know you’re trying everything.
I’m sorry to hear @Kat & Trixie is having the same problem with being out of the house. :spam:

I send you both many good wishes in keeping your sweet kitties safe :bighug::bighug::bighug:

You are definitely not alone and I completely agree that I can get way more done at home since I don’t have the interruptions I do when in the office. So frustrating that I’ve been able to do my job from home for 5 years and all of sudden it’s not an option.

With the fluctuations that Bell can see, you definitely have a tougher situation that I do. I commend you for the work you put in to keeping her safe. Please do send over any ideas you might come with and I’ll do the same!

Aweee thank you, Staci! To look on the bright side of things, I’m thankful to still have a job right now, even if the situation is ridiculous. You are the best

Right back at you, Kat!

@bluesunshine
Seth , oh my God what a night you had . You have to be exhausted. Congratulations on the reduction
It looks like you might get some sleep tonight looking at the Night cycle so far I hope so.
Those pics of Bell are so darn cute :bighug::bighug::bighug::cat:i assume when you are home on the weekends you don't use the auto feeder.hete is a really dumb suggestion
What if while you're at work you still use the feeder but leave a dish of food out right before you leave for work and put some few ice chips in it to keep it cold
Dumb suggestion I know :p

I got some great sleep, Diane! Not a dumb suggestion at all, I’ll give it a try!

I think the real problem with Bell during the day is she gets too comfortable in her bed in the sun and just doesn’t have the will-power to get up . She is the teenager who hits snooze 50 times
