Butch gave hard time eating this morning so I had to add tuna to his lc FF. We had a vet visit later in the day. The vet said his gum was little inflamed and gave him a antibiotic injection. I am contining with the Mirataz. He ate his +9 snack well but won't eat his regular lc FF. I gave him some FF mc 13% and he ate it. His PMPS shot is green and it was dropping. I am concerned with shooting tonight since his BG was dropping and his appetite isn't 100%.

*Update - His BG raised after eating 13%. I gave full dose 1.5 but he was shot 45 minutes later then his shot time. Tomorrow he will be getting it 30 minutes earlier than his normal time.

Should I give less insulin tomorrow morning?

*Update 3/21 AM Butch received his full dose AM shot at his normal time this morning. It was 45 minutes earlier than last night's shoot.

Hi Madeline, I’m sorry Butch isn’t feeling well and not eating well. I’m so sorry to hear about his gums. I hope the injection Will help him to feel better quickly.

You’ve had a rough couple of days.

I decided to give Butch his full dose AM shot at his normal time this morning. It was 45 minutes earlier than last night's shoot. He ate his FF lc 1/2 can portion. Hopefully, he will eat his snacks for +1, +2, +3, & +4. His BG was high this morning. I am thinking a bounce and the mc fed last night.

Hi Madeline, I’m glad Butch ate his FF this morning. I hope he continues to eat well for you today. i’ll bet you’re right, he’s bouncing. Hope he has a gentle slide back down with no crazy limes!!

Hi Staci, Thank you so much. It was such a pleasure to see him eating this morning. He ate his snacks too! :) Paws crossed his appetite stays good.
I am going to continue with the Mirataz and see how it goes...
So far today, He is surfing pink and yellow. Thank you, for the well wishes. Hope he listens! :cat:
