I don't use FB and refuse to ever use it. Are there any cat behavior / urinary issue groups on Reddit? I'm not a current Reddit user (briefly was one but couldn't figure it out and the few non-cat related threads I started either got no response or unhelpful rude ones) but could give it a try again.

I missed the vet's call :facepalm: Or more accurately, I sent it to voicemail because I was in mandatory EHS retraining and Tiger Mom is :mad: that the lab keeps failing inspections. Even the non lab bench staff like me had to attend:rolleyes: Hopefully the vet calls me back before he leaves today and I'm not in a subway tunnel with zero service when he calls.

And apparently he called half an hour ago but my phone didn't ring :confused: Probably bad service where I am. Just left him a message to call me back.

The vet says add another litter box and it will solve the problem o_O He doesn't think it's a urinary issue but said we could do all the urine testing.

Odd that after 14 years he suddenly decides he needs another litter box :confused: I don't even know where to put a second box where it won't be the first thing someone sees when they walk in. I need one of those litter box furniture things :confused: I have one corner where a litter box enclosure / fake tree thing could be placed. The opposite corner might fit a corner litter box enclosure if I move the cat tree over a bit. I'll pick up one of those Cats Pride disposable litter boxes from the supermarket this weekend while I figure out something more permanent.
