I am feeling better but still a litter drained, I am sure the cold raining weather isn't helping.

Today, Butch surfed yellow in a bounce from last night. Hoping he slides down gently with a calm night.

I think I am seeing some neuropathy in his hind legs when he is at rest sitting. I spoke to my vet about starting him on Zobaline. The vet wants to give it a little time because maybe it will go away with his BG being lower. He also wants to research Zobaline. I want to help my boy as soon as possible and not delay it.

I'm so glad you're feeling better, even if still in that recovery mode! I hope you it clears up quickly for you. :bighug:

A yellow bounce is at least refreshing in comparison to a pink one! That's some measure of progress.

I'm sorry that the vet wants to research more before helping Butch! It's understandable but so is your frustration. My vet gave us the gabapentin for anxiety but said that it would also help his neuropathy. Maybe you could ask for some of that in the meantime while he researches the Zobaline?

Better BG does help with resolving neuropathy but there is no harm in starting Zobaline which is only methycobalamin B12. Although there are cheaper brands than Zobaline for methyl B12

Thank you so much for your support, Bhooma. I don't think it is his arthritis because he received his Solensia injection, and he is still jumping. I am noticing that he is sitting more on his hind legs and a few times I saw his hind legs slip. He was in the high numbers.
Vitacost is a better option regarding cost but the Zobaline I believe has the exact dosage needed 3 mg.

Since it's a supplement there's no harm in starting it.
Any excesses the body can't process from the B vitamin family will get flashed in urine so you don't have to worry about it :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I’ve used both and now use Vitacost.
Not sure it’s helped Ivy but I still add it to her food.

I was giving 1/2 capsule 2x a day and then one of the docs I use has me give 1/4 capsule 2x a day now.

So I would think you could do 1/2 capsule 2x daily and see what you think.
