WCR: Once there was a snack down, she was a happy girl. LOL. The weather isn't bothering her in the least. Big thunderstorm came through about 2 hours ago, and she just hung out on the bed while everyone else disappeared into hidey-holes. LOL.

WBR: Really tired. Was exposed to H1N1 yesterday at work; not a fun thing to find out (new admit, test came back after we'd put her in her room...). But oh well, done's done, and we'll see how it goes in the next few days. Weather is wonderful; but I can't help feel sorry for those who've been evacuated. OTOH, I love this display of nature.

Big qualifying exam this morning, so off to hit the books for a few hours before class...I'll be back with AMPS...

I hope all have wonderful days, and that the numbers align well for everyone!

Re: 01/21: Esse PMPS+9=251

Good luck with your exam today. I love the weather too. I am from CA, and now live in NJ where we get a good bit of it.
Have a good day. Hope Esse surfs nicely, and you get enough rest, so you don't get that flu.

Re: 01/21: Esse PMPS+9=251

I already have had some congestion...but it's too early to blame the accidental exposure. Hopefully, this weekend I can get some rest and some solid sleep - this week has been hard, readjusting to school schedule and the storms, but hey, it's what it is ...

No, we don't get this kind of weather here - but like I've said, I do enjoy it. Gives a good break to the perpetual summer that So CA is known for...LOL.

Re: 01/21: Esse PMPS+9=251 AMPS=287

Interesting. According to the ss, it looks like her bounces are clearing faster and faster...we're solid in yellow still, and she'll get her shot in a few minutes. Thursdays will be "short" days, class will end about noon or so (and it's only theory!) so should be home on Thursdays by 1 or so.

Today's exam is the only thing on the schedule, so...hopefully, I'll be heading home by 10 am. Which would be good, you know? I'll be able to check Esse a few times today, instead of AM/PM PS only like I've done this week a few times (T/W are hospital floor days, and those are 12 hour minimum for me...).

Off to the exam - it's calculation qualifying (drug dosage competencies), and I've always been weakest in math...so hopefully, I'll do well. We'll see.

Re: 01/21: Esse PMPS+9=251 AMPS=287 +5=240

I hate tests. But as things go, if I didn't pass, it won't be by much. And we can retake it next week...so...well...there you go. LOL.

Esse is "cruising on a (Thursday) afternoon..." Looks like she's doing well, although I'd've hoped for blue. But still, yellow is far better than red...I'm gonna put down some food and hope we get a gentle decrease or surf right around these numbers for a little while. I think that she's clearing her RBCs faster and faster, which is an indication that the liver is not quite as scared as it has been, and that perhaps she's getting a bit more comfortable at these numbers...and slowly progressing down to healing.

Storming outside - on the drive home from school, at one point there was close to zero visibility on the freeway. Bright red lights all around, and we were inching along...flash flood warnings for the entire city - not just the hills or lowlaying areas, but everywhere. I ran through the market, and am now home...ready to go take a nap in this weather, and then, when I wake up, roll over, grab a kitty, snuggle down under a quilt, and read Stephen King's "Under The Dome". Just finished a Margaret Atwood, so am still in the mood for spooky. And this weather is screaming for a reading day...

What a nice flat curve...yellow, yes, but still just nice and flat. If you look at her ss, it's likely we'll see a nice drop with tonight's shot.

Re: 01/21: Esse PMPS+9=251 AMPS=287 +5=240 +10=251 PMPS=251

If you look, she's been surfing very close to 250 for the last 15 hours. I am lovin' it...she is exactly where she was 15 hours ago, and where she was 2 hours ago...she's holding solid at 250. How very interesting.

Of course, I had Trader Joe's Tuna (0-1 carb per serving) so I put it out, and shot the 2.25. She will very likely hit blues in the next few hours...and knowing her tendancies, she may even go green by 9 pm. Which I'd adore...but I'd rather she stay a day in blue, and then progress to green...because that would make the bounce smaller.

And now that I've said that, she's going to go into the 400s, just to be a confounding kitty...LOL.

Hope everyone has a great evening...the storms are abating, the wind is lessening, and hopefully we'll get some drying time before the next round (due next week; but still far less than 1/3 of one storm we've had this week...).

Re: 01/21: Esse PMPS+9=251 AMPS=287 +5=240 +10=251 PMPS=251

And of course, just after saying that the storms are abating, this popped up for my area:

"This is a dangerous storm. If you are in its path... prepare
immediately for damaging winds... destructive hail... and deadly cloud
to ground lightning. People outside should move to a shelter...
preferably inside a strong building but away from windows
.

In addition to large hail and damaging winds... continuous cloud to
ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors
immediately! Lightning is one of natures number one killers.
Remember... if you can hear thunder... you are close enough to be
struck by lightning."

So I pulled on my robe, slid into my clogs, and put my car into the garage (I usually leave it on the street). And while I was doing that, I saw a lot of lightening (although I am quite east from the cell...), and heard some thunder. LOL. This might get really interesting really quickly...

ETA: It went from drizzling to limited visibility downpour in less than 20 seconds...the wind went from a wee breeze to gusty at the same time. And as I was watching, the place across the street and two down lost it's lights. So it's here...I may lose power too, so don't worry about me and Mamacat...we'll be fine; I've got quilts and hidey holes for the kitties, and they've got full bellies, and I am going to sit back and enjoy the show (because I can...I'm already home and warm and dry...).

Stay warm, stay dry, and stay safe.

Those yellow cycles may mean some action so have a flashlight handy for testing!

All yellow 200's, no pink, no red... this is a good day for Esse. Now let's see some blues, m'kay?

Re: 01/21: Esse PMPS+9=251 AMPS=287 +5=240 +10=251 PMPS=251

Sienne, I live in EQ country...I've got flashlights and batteries in each and every room. LOL. And yes, I've thought about the possibility of her having an active cycle...

So far, so good...still have power, and am thinking the loss across the street was from a tree branch knocking some lines around. It's an older building, so it's possible. No significant weather to report.

OTOH, Esse has eaten, groomed, used the box, and hopped into a kitty bowl for a post dinner snooze. She's well and content...and so is the bean. We're ready to go, and deal with whatever comes our way tonight, weather or sugar or whatever. LOL.

CD, I hope we have a long time in the blues...that would be so nice. Just a relaxing blue cycle for oh, 24 hours or so...and then into the high greens. That would be loverly...

Thunder rumbling hard now...

Re: 01/21: Esse PMPS+9=251 AMPS=287 +5=240 +10=251 PMPS=251

It's great to see that nice flat surf in yellows; it sure beats the pants off any crazy ups n downs that just end up in crazy bounces.

It's understandable though; if you think about it, the bounce likely were the result of Esse venturing down into numbers and her body's going OMG what is this?? and scurries up to its comfy numbers. Then every additional time Esse drops, that shock gets less and less until those numbers no longer feel wrong but rather they feel right.

Esse seems to understand that now. If only I can convince Shadoe.

Now, Esse, since you have a good handle on the yellows, how about if we dip a bit more and try on some of those cool blues. Try it; you'll like it!
