How is KB doing today....any more playing? Hope the numbers get better

Thanks for the kind words, Pat. Another reason I was concerned was I tested him with two meters last night because I'm low on strips and the other meter said 345. Well, with higher numbers you have more inaccuracy (I think), but that still bummed me out. Today I see that is some sort of meter code that displays before you even put a strip in. :)

Not playful today, all the kitties are snoozing. Even the dog is napping.

Well, I used to use a Contour and was really getting discouraged. I bought a Reli-On Micro and stick with that one all the time now.
When things are going very smoothly and I want to really mess up my head cause that's the way I am used to living,, (with my head messed up :? LOL) I whip out the old Contour and do a comparison. I do that for a few hours until I am sufficiently screwed up in the head and confused and then I put the Contour away for another slow day. :lol:
I have thought of buying a third meter too on days when I am really feeling too great to be believed....but then I get involved with something else and I forget about it. Thankifully. Meters are so different. It's enough to really send me over the edge... :lol:

One thing about the Contour though...it had the BEST lancet device so it was worth getting it for me. I love that lancet device!! :mrgreen:

Hmm, the Micro was the one that showed the 345 when I turned it on. :) I have to find it's little book to see what the error code means, it's a new box of strips so it shouldn't be that. I stopped using it once before because I thought the strips were toast.

Nice KB is coming down. I use the ReliOn Ultima. comes with a little strip to program the strip. Has a high rating with Consumer Reports. I have not had a problem. Also, you can order on line which is nice if you are far from a WalMart. Have a great day.

Yeah for Aviva!! That's what I use---one meter all the time
Either way by +2-+3 KB will be a lovely green :mrgreen:
I love the freestyle lancet..Oh well. Apples & Oranges.

Nice pmps for KB tonight!! Glad to see he came down nicely from the amps. I use the Relion Micro also. When you put the strip in, a bunch of numbers pop up then the number from your previous test come up. Then you get the E3 or E4....this is just the coding letter/numbers. The only time I ever got an error code was when I didn't have enough of blood.
