I think I'd try it if you can monitor closely. He hasn't been below 80 for a week so gives you a little room to try an increase. He might reject it right away, but maybe that'll be enough to kick start him.

    Hi Wendy,

Thank you for responding. What do you mean by him rejecting it? Dropping too low?

I'll can start tomorrow AM. I'll be home all day so I can dote on him. I've read what I should look out for is a big drop at +2/+3, is this correct? And obviously anything under 50. Should I make a post if he nears 50 for guidance?

    Thank you again!

Yes, rejecting it means him deciding it's too much. Can't tell until you try.

A big drop from PS to +2 can signal an active cycle. Be interesting to see where he goes next tonight. Absolutely post for help if he gets lower than you are comfortable with. Hopefully you have your HC food ready just in case.

I have 5 cans of Friskies Indoor Chunky Chicken & Turkey Casserole. It's 30% carbs, I probably went overboard on the carbs :joyful: Honey as well. Do you think that'll be sufficient? I live close to a pet store, I could always pop out for 10 minutes to grab more.

You're all set! At some point, some MC (11-15%) might be handy.
