I just fed him some MC and I will test him at +7 again. Do I reduce or keep the dose tonight?

For long term diabetics (more than a year since Dx), the reduction point is 40 and not 50 (with a human meter) or a week in normal numbers.
So you would hold the dose till he earns a reduction in one of the two above ways.

I hope so! And just think that he's being treated for stomatitis as well! Were it not for his inflamation, he might have had even lower BG counts, I think!
