    307 @ 5:33 a.m.

    Still a bit on the high side, however, it's much better than yesterday morning's 383. :) This time, I went ahead and shot pretty much right after she ate (I did a few things before I could get to her). I'm trying to train myself that it's ok to shoot while she's eating or right after. LOL

    PMPS @ 310 @ 5:30, fed and shot while she was eating this time. She didn't like it, and flinched.. twice. Managed to get insulin in, though.. No fur shot.

    Spent 3x retesting her today. :( Weird.

    +6 = 332 @ 11:27 a.m.; retook @ 11:31 a.m. and got 288
    +8 = 355 @ 1:35 p.m.; retook @ 1:38 p.m. and got 315
    PMPS = 409 @ 5:28 p.m.; retook @ 5:30 p.m. and got 310

    Weird, weird, weird... Naturally, I took the lower #'s.

    hey angela that last test had an almost 100 point difference! in 2 minutes? may be time to check that meter, maybe you need another one? maybe even a newbie?

    The "acceptable" range for inaccuracy for meters is pretty high - I want to say 20%? Do you have control solution you can use to test the meter/strips? The variation you got does seem a little high... now I'm scared to test Bix like that, it might discourage me!!! :D

    I used the control strip, and forgot to put the solution onto that strip before inserting the control strip into the meter.

    However.... This evening's +4 # was 279 at 9:30 p.m. I'll take that, thank you very much. :) At least she's given me a few yellows today. Can't beat that. :)

    Angela, i think all the meters require you to put the control solution on after the putting the strip in the meter, same as you would with real blood.
