Much nicer pre-shot after that ugly red last night. Logan seemed to do ok w/o his pain meds last night. He was a little more "with it" although he was a bit restless. He didn't sleep on the floor next to me all night. He went upstairs for a while. But, he came back down around 5 this morning and snuggled and purred. He ate a little bit of FF this morning and licked some Whiskas, but not much. We gave him his pain meds this morning to make sure he takes it easy while we're gone. We'll go home around lunchtime to feed him.

(((Kelly)))

Have been reading about Logan's progress...so glad he's coming along & not in pain.
So he left you on the floor while he went upstairs, huh? Well that's gratitude for you!

Seriously though, I hope you get some answers from the vet today. I know this has to be a stressful time for you. :YMHUG:
Will be thinking about you guys & checking back for updates. Please keep us posted.

That's good that he is getting around for himself...he must wonder why on earth you
guys are camping out on the floor lately...but it's nice that he gives you some privacy during
the night... LMHO... I guess we can all relate to that story of how he left you on the floor alone!

Hope he has a good day while you are gone....will be waiting to hear news...
((Kelly)) thinking of yous....

Hi Kelly
This so nice progress. Good number, eating on his own and getting around are terrific signs.
Even if he is not eating a lot, it is good that the appetitie is there and the effort
is being made.
Waiting to hear on his results today (hopefully)
Take deep breaths. :YMHUG:

Re: 1/13 Logan PMPS 375 - Good news!!

Logan does not have lymphoma!!!! The stomach, liver and pancreas all looked good. The inflammation was in the small intestines, only. She said it was chronic moderate IBD. We won't be able to start treatment until early next week - we have to wait for him to heal from the surgery. She did say that the endoscopy would not have gotten the sample we needed to diagnose the IBD - it was taken further down in the small intestine so the scope wouldn't have gone down that far. At least that makes me feel better about our decision.

Thank goodness. I am so happy to hear.
Logan will heal. I know these extra testings are tough decisions
to make but good call, mama bean.
We can sleep better tonight.

Phew!!! What great news Kelly!
I've been following your condo and am so relieved to see this...
Hope you get a goods night rest

OMG Kelly!!

I've been following your thread today hoping for an update from the vet & it came through on my phone while I was driving back from dinner. Thought I'd wet my pants!

Great great news!! :RAHCAT Makes me tear...you must be exploding after all of the tension!

Bee also has ibd & it can be managed quite well. Cassandra knows a lot more about this than I do. Maybe we can get her to share some of her best advice with us!

This totally made my day! Now...have a big chocolate bar or a drinking24 . You deserve it, my friend!!!!

She called my cell phone while I was in my parking garage at work - no service. So, I listened to the voicemail and just started crying when I heard her say it definitely was not cancer. I was so happy and relieved! I came home and gave him lots of kisses. He was sitting on the stairs crying, which concerned me a little. But, we figured out that he wanted his room opened up - the one we've been keeping him in while we're gone. He's been in there for a couple of hours - just chilling on the couch. I couldn't get him to purr, but I think he's feeling a little better tonight. That won't last once we start cleaning the tube area! Ugh, I hate that part.

Thank you everyone for your warm wishes, prayers, positive thoughts and encouragement. I know I couldn't get through all of this stuff w/o you guys. You're the only ones that truly understand and don't think I'm insane when I say I'm feeding my cat through a tube! :-D
