    Hi All,
    Please know I am not ignoring your support, I am having trouble writing, each time I try I cry and that distresses Gussie..I am so appreciating each of your love and support for Gussie and myself. This morning he was curled in my arm, the civvies were here too..it was so gentle and peaceful..until the alarm clock went off and the real world intruded and reminded..
    I am not going to poke his ears anymore. We are going to call his remission his success story. He is staying close to me, leaving this morning was so very very hard.
    Today he grazed the food dish, his only medication is the CBD. He hurts when he lays down but once he does he falls into deep sleep and in that sleep he has active dreams..
    We are taking it one day at a time and are doing this entirely Gussies way..
    Thank you all for the putpouring of love and support. I am so very grateful..

    Thank you Bron, Gussie is walking in Shebas paw prints..I know she will be there to greet him..my heart broke when I read your post and is still breaking farther though I do not know how that happens and we stay alive ourselves..my heart sends gentle hugs to yours..

    Thank you for checking in and sending the picture of Gussie. Of course everything you described about your day was something I could imagine perfectly. It's just a surreal feeling to grieve while the rest of the world carries on as usual. Well, I guess this is the place where that can be an exception. I hope so anyway.

    I am sure that there is literally no where else in the whole world where you could find more understanding of what you are going through than in this forum.
