Hi guys. We're back. I dont recognize a thing. :-/

I am hoping Fluffy's spreadsheet is up and running but if not you havent missed a thing.

Recap: Fluffy was on Lantus for about 2 months last year when he went OTJ for 14 months. No idea what happened but his glucose has been creeping back up and at 7pm today I shot his first dose of 1 unit. Sigh. So it looks like we will be renting a condo here but only on a month-to-month basis.

p.s. Fluffy had a dental recently and is fully recovered.

p.p.s. Vet wanted me to start Fluffy off at 4 units bid without even knowing his BG number!!!! Good thing I know better. Sheesh.
 
Hi Linda

you'll need to link ur spreadsheet here in ur condo. Go to the TECH forum for instructions, you may have to go back a couple of pages...then go to the EVERYTHING forum to test the link, your signature and whatnot.

Sorry that you had to return, but if you got to the Falls once, you can get back there(paws & fingers crossed)..You know the basics here..We are here to help.
 
I guess the motto in Lantus Land is, "Happy to see you, happier to see you go!" Anyway, welcome back from a newer resident! It's fantastic that you knew how to treat Fluffy.
 
Hi, just stopping in to say hello...Morris and I were new back in August. How wonderful that Fluffy honeymooned for so long...just treat this as a short trip and we'll be glad all over again when Fluffy goes back to the Falls (anti-jinx).
 
Just out of curiosity, why did you decide on 1.0u as a place to start? Your PMPS was not all that high.

Do you know what Fluffy's ideal weight is? The dosing team is using ideal weight as a means of establishing a starting dose. (Chances are you're in the ballpark but I was curious.)

Hopefully, it was the need for the dental that cause BG to be wonky and once all of that is passed, Fluffy can trade in the condo here for the one back at the Falls.

You know what I mean.... LOL....and isn't it wonderful that you knew what to do when the vet said to start out
on 4.0u ? Well, I didn't back in August but after coming to the forum here I learned pretty quickly...
Nice to meet you and I seriously hope your stay will be a short one...looking forward to visiting Fluffy's condo too now
that you're here...
 
I hope that Fluffy just wants to visit for a short while, like Pelusa did last year! (she needed only 9 micro shots to go back to her precious Falls!) I wish the same to you! Good luck!
