Lucky me; it looks like he's not getting a huge bounce from not having insulin in yesterday's AM cycle.

WCR: seems fine, his usual self. Eating ok. I tried fish this morning but he doesn't each much of it. I guess I'll need to return my fishy foods. It kind of stinks because they are really low carb. The stuff he likes the best is Friskies Pouches which are about 10 carbs each.

We have some kind of critter/critters in our walls. It was loud this morning - making these fast thumping noises. It's got to be a squirrel or chipmunk or rat  because it sounds too big to be a little mouse. Boomer heard it from the other room and came it and looked up at the ceiling. It freaked me out so much. Eeewww. I told my land lords and they are trying to catch whatever is it. Gross! I have an attached apt to their house, so it's in their house too.

Nice AMPS for Boomer today.....very nice....
I hope whatever is in the walls is caught....not a good thing if it dies int here....hope the landlord does
something quick. that noise could drive you crazy..isn't it creepy? LOL...Oh well, you have Boomer to
protect you! :-D

Hi Pat-

YES, it's totally creepy and loud! Eeewww. Thump, thump, thump, really fast. Yuck. I'm not fond of rodents. Boomer got one once so I know he's good at catching them. He didn't eat it thank God because I'd have barfed.

I'm curious. How did Raja get her name?

Given his IBD, avoiding fish for him is even more important than it would be in a non-IBD kitty. Often IBD is linked to allergic reactions, and fish is a primary contender as an allergen.

Hope they catch that critter(s) soon! I had that happen at my house before this one - a squirrel got into the attic. The nice rodent man was able to trap it humanely and seal where it came in and it (thankfully!) wasn't an issue ever again.
