shot a smaller dose today, (SLF 2.0)
not intentionally, running late and i didn't have time to redraw the shot.
i got her to eat the whole pill, after much coaxing (and some dried salmon and a three pieces of dried evo. boy, she liked that!) :twisted:

Glad you got her to eat the whole pill. Sasha baby - those pills are yucky but you needz them to get rid of that nasty UTI. Max hates pills to - hardest cat I've ever seen to pill. Hope you do some green surfin today.

well she would not take her pill or eat tonight. (i crushed it up and hid it in food with dried salmon on top...even crushed a few dry evo's but she would not budge.) then i crushed another pill and put it in tuna water. she took a few sips but would not finish it. i am very irritated. i know she's hungry, but she is mad that i won't let her hide under the bed. i'm hoping she'll eat later. guess i'll have to skip tonight's pill

also, giant bubble in syringe after shot. (arg!)
 
Does she not like Pill Pockets? Silly Sasha - they are good stuff!

From yesterday's condo:

only bad thing was cholesterol and lipids (fat) was high, but she is overweight. (17 lbs) he thinks under 15 lbs would be better. that will be the goal this year. (just don't tell her)

I'm sure Jojo told you this, but no worries on either the cholesterol or lipase values. Cholesterol is often elevated in diabetic cats. Lipase is not definitive of anything when elevated by itself. If this wasn't a fully fasted sample (12 hours), both values may have been skewed by food too.

(i've tried pill pockets years ago. she didn't go for them then. i could try again? i am getting fortiflora on friday, i will try sprinkling it on top, but she is one stubborn kitty. seems like she just knows when it's crushed in the food.

refused post test snack (very unlike her!)

i topped it with dried salmon now she is munching away. didn't eat much today. verra unhappy about hidden pills in her fuds.
