PMPS+10.5=351. Forgot to put food out (Evo)...again. Put a wee bit into the bowls just now. All numbers will be wonky because of this.
AMPS=359. Breakfast served, Wellness. Shot 2.25U.
+7=373. Still surfing...
+11=389: still sitting there in the high threes...
PMPS=370. Trader Joe's Tuna, shot 2.5U let's see what happens.

Morning, all.

It was a very hard day at school/hospital for me, and I was utterly blown out by the time I got home. I didn't bother to eat, that's how tired I was. Just took a bath, and was in bed by 7:15. And yes, I forgot ****again**** to put out overnight food for the herd. I am just not good at going to sleep at 11 pm and getting up at 3, you know?? Which is what I did M/T...

Well, we'll see what's up. I know that it's sooner than the 2 hours needed for a pure AMPS, but it is the way it is.

Obviously I'm still whupped. Correction of AMPS from 395 to 359...which is a better number, but also the accurate one.

And now I'm off to lecture for 6 hours...I hope I don't fall asleep in class...

Re: 1/28 Esse PMPS+10.5=351 AMPS=359

((Michele)) You have a lot going on....maybe when you think of it you can
put notes to yourself in strategic places to remind your brain of the important things....
Good that you got some extra sleep last night though. That was a good thing!

Re: 1/28 Esse PMPS+10.5=351 AMPS=359

I hope the lecture is so fascinating that you couldn't possibly doze off.

Esse's AMPS wasn't that different from her +10.5 so the food probably didn't make much difference today. Don't sweat it.

See you later and hope your day is easier and you stay awake enough for dinner. ~O)

Re: 1/28 Esse PMPS+10.5=351 AMPS=359

I am sure Esse will be OK; I think lots of us get really busy and some stuff slides, It happens.

If you are not using an auto feeder, it may help you by eliminating one thing to do.

I hope you can stay conscious through the lecture; there is always duct tape and toothpicks if you need stuff to keep your eyes open

SO.

I am going to pop her to 2.5 tonight, and see if I can't get that shed filled completely. I will be in and out all weekend (a lot of in rather than out...), studying and getting chores done, so can watch her and see what we need to to. I need to bring her down, and since she seems to be surfing in the high threes, and Sienne said yesterday that it looks like I've got room, and as much as I don't want to...it does look like the need is there, even if only temporary to counteract the bean's errors this week.

But in my defense, remember that exam last Thursday that I was so stressed about? Well, we lost 31% of our entire class (we had 97 people) to it; some will be able to pass the retake, but the retake is harder than the original, so I'm not sure how many people will make it through. From the hospital floor, we've lost an additional 3 people, who are either gone totally (and no chance of coming back), or who have pulled out because they can't do it (for whatever reason). And we're only 2.5 weeks into the semester.

This is, truly, hell semester...realizing all this, and understanding that I didn't get much sleep this week at all because of pressure - well, it helps me relax a bit about the errors I made earlier this week (fur shot and forgetting to put out overnight food twice...). Not "relax" as in not doing it, but relax as in being mad at myself for making the error.

Just thought I'd mention that...

Actually, guys, the lecture was fun and funny - one of the best lecturers was teaching today, and I enjoy the topic (liver function/dysfunction), so it was an easier thursday than I had expected.

That doesn't mean I didn't count a ton of coffee cups sitting on desks, or people sleeping on their desks during break...but still, *I* enjoyed it, and managed to stay awake until I came home and fell asleep for a 2 hour nap. LOLOL.

The whole catsicle system worked really well when I had it in place - but I have been forgetting to make catsicles...so that needs to change and get back into place. I'm going to give that a shot, and if it doesn't get back together, I will consider an autofeeder for sure.

Now to get dinner into the oven...

Sounds like you still have your head firmly planted on your shoulders and have a great attitude. Work hard and take things in stride as needed. But do make some more catsicles! Make more than you need... cuz' they will always come in handy.

Glad you enjoyed today's liver lecture and super happy for you that you weren't in that 31% culled by last week's exam. Wow.

Good luck with the increase to 2.5u. Come on Esse, show us what you got.

Onlyh if you count me imitating the Exorcist's famous face flip...it's still on my shoulders, but spinning. LOLOL. As for taking things in stride, I'm trying my best to do that. It's not easy; no one tells you how wide to make your stride, and sometimes I overshoot, sometimes under. But so far, I've managed to keep my feet on the ground no matter where I've landed (and it's been some strange spots indeed...). Yeah, I was floored too to hear of the numbers being culled. Made me gag; some of these folks are going to make phenomenal nurses, and some of this stuff is unnecessarily difficult...I feel bad for them, you know? Just bad for them.

I will be making a lot of catsicles over the weekend...I just have to take the time and do it, and then decant them into plastic baggies in serving sizes...that way, I can just grab them and get them out as part of the breakfast/dinner feeding, like I did before...

Time for PMPS...

PMPS=370. Shot 2.5U. Gave trader joes for dinner. Am crying right now because a dear friend just found out she didn't pass the retake. It's things like this that make my school just too tough to bear. She's a good, smart woman, and should be able to be a nurse. Damit all to hell and back.

It just won't be the same without her...
