Happy Caturday LL. I am so thrilled to start a Caturday out with a number like this and on Day 9 at that. Plus, we overslept by an hour so this number is an hour past normal test time. I put it on the ss at the normal timeslot though so sorry if I confuse anybody who looks at his number and sees it in the normal time slot (it was actually at 6:00 am instead of 5:00 am)

WCR: Max was snuggled up tight with me this morning. He spent the entire night snuggled in bed with me on the electric blanket - very chilly night here last night. When I got up this morning he went right to his test spot and patiently waited for me to come out into the kitchen and get his strip and brefus. He's feel really good so far this morning. Not very active yet, but we did just wake up. Hard to believe we are at Day 9 already.

Off to visit condos since DH was playing last night and I didn't get to see how everybody was doing.

ETA: Thank you Pat for pointing out that I missed putting Max's name in the subject line. Didn't have my cawfee yet when I put the post on. Guess I was so excited too at the numer this morning too.

VERY good for an hour past normal test AMBG time!!

You might wanna start weening him out of that "special test are" :lol: cuz come next week....(antijinx!) after the big day (antijinx!) he may need therapy cuz he'll be wondering why he isn't (antijinx!) getting daily testing (antijinx!)

WOW, day 9 for your little "miracle man". Hope you have a wonderful day. Sounds like oversleeping is becoming a pattern now. That's great. Enjoy.

you know it helps if you sing and recite poems you wrote to his pancreas? oh yeah it is very true, ask any of the OTJ kitties. it works even better if you do this when people are over visiting. you try k? :lol:

Well I attribute these higher numbers tonight to the fact that my neighbor decided to shoot his pistol outside for about an hour right before Max's PM test time. So needless to say my boy was completely stressed out and has been ever since. He is such a sissy boy that any loud noise or strange voices will send him into hiding.

WCR: It's been another very cold day here today so Max has spent the bulk of his day on his normal spots: the cable box, electric blanket and heat register. He got some good skritches from DH tonight and even started giving love bites again like he used to. Have to say I didn't miss those - his love bites are kinda rough sometimes. But overall he's feeling great and eating like a piggy. I think I might have to taper his food down slightly because he has gained a little more weight than I would like to see. I can still see his hips but they are slowly disappearing.

Oh JoJo, if I started singing to him when there is company over I would send everybody fleeing out of the house along with all the cats bcatrun_gif

Well we will be realistic and we will settle for one day.
