Shadoe woke me last nite and I took the+7; she was quite persistent that I wake up. Just a few hours later, she was back to her pushy get up methods from pre-fluids days. As soon as I started getting up, she ran out of the bedroom to the cat nip. She has been chewing on her fresh catnip plant every morning for awhile now. There has to be something to the catnip because before she would chew on it at odd times, but infrequently.

I gave her 1/2 can of SophCat Chicken&Liver but she just ate a small bit of it; she was not hungry this morn. I tested her with some PureSnacks and her snack stomach is working just fine, so if dessert goes down easy, then I don't think she has any nausea issues.

I think I mentioned y'day that I am moving her shots 15min each over the weekend so that we can be at 6am for her ps, giving me more time to take +1 and even +2 if needed before having to leave for work.

Shadoe was very accommodating in the LB this morn, so able to test - no ketones, and that stool has to have been the smelliest she has EVER deposited. I swear it was stinky enough to have woken me from a dead sleep and with the bedroom door closed. Sure it was healthy enough looking and solid and not black, but it made my eyes water just getting out of the LB!

She seems to be getting more relaxed now she has had her shot. It's been 1/2 hr since her shot, and she is just now finally stretched out on the sofa. She just did the stretch the back leg and all toes thing, so she's good for napping now.

For the rest of the day, I will test. Her pm shot will be at 615pm and tomorrow, both shots will be at 6am and pm to be ready for Monday.

High on catnip, stinky pooh, skips meals and goes straight for dessert, and relaxed...sounds like Shadoe cat_pet_icon

Ready for a pokefest here - hope she gives ya good stuff, with her being so comfy & happy today, she has no excuse!

Sounds like a poke day today for Shadoe. The nip always helps with the nausea too. Whenever Max acts as if he is a little nauseated or doesn't want to eat good for me, I know I can always give him some catnip and it will cure both problems.

Nice round number to start the day....are you increasing to 6.0?? I hope you find that magic number one of these days...has to be tough on you and Shadoe...at least SHE has the catnip for consolation! :dizcat

I foresee going to 6u this weekend, but to be thorough, I'll do the testing to see what her numbers are truly like with no fluids or any other items in the mix.
I don't think Shadoe is 100%, maybe she is adjusting to no fluids and the return of the reds, so we will see how this day goes.

Great idea to have a funfilled poking day for Shadoe now that you stopped the fluids.
Maybe that OMG stinky poo was a nice magical poo, compliments of Luna, and we could see some movement in her numbers, lol.

You never know when that .25 is going to kick in Gayle. Max has shown some nice progress at the same 5.75u but I am pretty sure at the 10th cycle he will go to 6 as well. You know what they say about numbers, its just a number.

As expected, nothing but flat, flat pink numbers for 5hours.
As I said before, I see nothing happening except more pink until pmps when we be back at reds.
Shadoe is hiding; she does not like her ears being poked every hour.

Three more hours of pink numbers.
Shadoe's running out of places to hide and I am getting tired of seeing exactly what I expect to see.

Shadoe has not eaten much today; I have mixed her MaxCat Turkey&giblets with water into a soup and she seems to prefer the soupy slop to the more solids.

I don't expect to see much change this eve and may just test every 2hours since all we will be getting is more pink.
 
Shadoe has not been eating much all day, but she has been lapping up the liquid in the foods.

I was out all afternoon so I only got to see Shadoe's ss now.
You tested her every hour with those numbers.
I am sending you a cyber hug because this had to have been a hard day for you.
I gave up testing Max today. I just knew I did not want to see anymore.
You are one strong lady!!! My hats off to you. So devoted to Shadoe.
Maybe this moon is affecting her too.
Tomorrow is another day.
 
not eating much... nailbite_smile makes me nervous with a shot in there...ur prepared to do checks I'm sure of it.

Hope she eats soon, not use to hearing she's not eating much. Eat Shadoe Eat!
 
She has eaten little bits, but not like she does most days during the week.
Today, she ate 1/4 3oz can of SC chicken&liver, about 1/3 5oz can of Maxcat turkey&giblets, about 1/8cup drained tuna from when I had given her the tuna water, and just a bit of a 3oz can of Almo nature 100% trout&tuna in broth. I mixed water in each of them and that's what she lapped up; all the liquids, then ate a couple chunks only.
Oh yeah, she is having no problem eating all of the pure snacks I give her. I gave her a tiny piece after each test; I had to have some kind of bribe.
I wonder if she misses the fluids. Her numbers have already proven that her good numbers were due to the fluids because she is pink and red since we stopped them.
I'll a +2 at 830pm; any bets on the color?
 
((Gayle)) Hope tomorrow brings better colors and better appy for Shadoe. Thanks for the support tonite on FB.....I needed to take a breath and chill.....Zoe is full of 'tude tonite.

Well, I don't think Shadoe has anything in her besides pinks today, so I am calling it a nite for the curve today and maybe see what a new day brings.
