An almost yellow pre-shot. Logan ate fairly well this morning. He ate 3/8 can of FF at 4:00 am and then another 5/8 at AMPS 2 1/2 hours later. I cut his tube feeding amount to 1/4 can of a/d (was 2/3 can, then 1/3 can). We're going to try to skip his mid-day tube feeding today...assuming he continues to eat well. I went btb after AMPS and he woke me up purring a few hours later...wanted some more food - he ate 1/2 can of FF.

He's being social today - hanging out with the fam in the living room.

I increased him to 5.25 units this morning.

Great to here Logan is eating more on his own Kelly.
That is great news!!
Good luck with the dosecrease.

I hope skipping the tube feedind works well for Mr. Logan!

:-D So great to read this today.....Logan seems to be eating better and he is enjoying
Sunday with the family....how great is that? It's REALLY GREAT!!! :YMHUG:

Not moving much, but that's consistent with most of his days! I'm hoping it's just the prednisolone that keeps him from coming down...hoping his BGs will come down once we cut the dosage.

He just ate 1 1/8 can of FF on his own! That's about 107 calories so we will skip the mid-day tube feeding. Yeah!

What a relief for you to see Logan starting to come around.
Eating on his own, and a sizable amount too, plus getting more social, are two awesome signs.
Here's hoping the Logan's improvement is nice and steady.

Such great news to read that Logan is starting to eat so well on his own. That's such a good sign. Max wasn't very active when he had his tube in either. I attributed it to maybe it was just because he was so sick, but once the tube came out he immediately started running through the house again. So maybe the lack of activity is due to the tube - I can't imagine it's the most comfortable thing to have and probably slows them down a little.

I think we'll see a huge improvement in his overall attitude once the tube comes out. Poor thing, he has a tube stitched into his stomach through his abdominal wall, I can understand why he's not perky! And he has to wear the stupid little shirt, which he hates!

He ate an entire can of FF for dinner. Yay! I think we'll be able to skip his night time tube feeding, as well. We'll just mix up enough to put his medicine in through the tube. Hoping that he will keep this up! He's only had 1/4 can of a/d through the tube today. He was getting two whole cans in the beginning so HUGE improvement there.

Pffft, I bet Logan is thinking, you would not be doing jumping jacks if YOU had a stupid tube in your belly and had to wear a stupid ugly shirt. :-x

Look out when that tube comes out; you may be seeing Logan doing back flips with joy!

So good to hear he's eating lots more each time.

Logan ate another 1/2 can of FF tonight. He's still stuck on the one flavor - chunky turkey feast! Maybe we'll get him to consider some other options this next week. So, Logan had a great day, as far as eating goes. He's eaten 3.75 cans of FF plus the 1/4 can of a/d - a total of 401 calories!

I hope you are talking VERY LOUDLY ABOUT THE TUBE COMING OUT in front of Logan...
 I don't know if he is reading your posts....so maybe you will have to speak loudly about it...so he can hear you!
they have to be told that what they are experiencing is NOT forever....(I have weird thoughts like that.... )
so tell him that he can get out of that little shirt that bothers him so much....
I am so happy to hear that he is eating so much now on his own....this is such great news....
Sending hugs to you both! :YMHUG:

He's definitely reading my posts! He woke me up two hours earlier than normal for his late night snack...and ate an entire can! I believe he'd eat more if I gave it to him. Little piggy! If he keeps it up, we'll only be using the tube to push meds!

It's great to hear about Logan doing so well with the food and having a good sized appetite. Little appetite makes me worry.

Will you be having the tube removed soon?
I am asking for Logan :-D
