We are fortunate and grateful to be back to green. Meanwhile, the weather is frightful, with strong chance of power outages due to ice. Have had to plan for how to manage testing and injecting without electricity … battery powered lighting and use of gas powered hot water for warm compress to replace microwaved rice filled sock for warming the ear. I also regularly warm her pate, so that will have to be done with hot water soaking of cans. We setup a 30k btu propane heater with a 30 gallon propane tank in the house for heat, as the temps are getting into single digits this week so that combined with no power would be more than a struggle. Let’s hope all this prep will keep the power outage from happening.
