    Yes to both. It's not one or the other. If she drops below 40, reduce. If her numbers are normal range (mostly green) for a week, reduce.

    If it were me, I'd try to prevent reductions. Chloe's still a bit high at pre-shot times. She's surfing in green numbers a good amount I'd just want to keep her in that range. The PS numbers are the last to come down.

    Thank you. I was confirming that those were the two situations where I would reduce. Her higher PS numbers from this past week were likely due to the ulcer meds - definitely carb packed. Hoping to reduce next week if she stays like this :)

    Even for newly diagnosed kitties, the pre-shot numbers, typically AMPS, are the last to fall into line.
