another bright and frosty morning -- Catcat was happy to plunk his cold paw pads down on my elbow and forearm, and snuggle next to me under the fluffy fleece blanket

poor thing, his nose is damp -- he can sneeze and cough but not sniffle ...

my nose was running too, when I took garbage out to the curb -- amazing how full our recycle bin gets now that I'm using all these bimetallic catfood cans

Please release me, let me go
For I don't love you anymore

but Catcat loved what the cans contained ... :cat::cat:
 
I hope Catcat keeps sliding down today. When my cats start sneezing I give them 1/4 of a 10mg tablet of Zyrtec. It can be given twice a day.
 
will have to check to see if we have any Zyrtek (cetirizine) -- DH uses loratadine (Costco ownbranded Aller-Clear), will have to check to see if there are any ingredients a cat shouldn't have -- I know the syrup versions are a no no
 
doing great so far ... have some nice Friskies liver&chicken pate on tap for tonight --

fresh smooth percale sheets on the bed, they smell good too, should give me a nice sleep, lavender/sage aroma sachet sitting on my pillow

I seem to be healing well from the various pulls and bruises, though DH was astonished at the size of the one on my rear end -- had far less trouble going up and down stairs today -- which can be a challenge, as our main floor is five feet above ground level (daylight basement intended to be a passive-solar plenum); I spend much of my time in the loft -- have to brave the stairs to reach insulin in fridge on main floor .. two sets of stairs to go out in the car -- or take the trash out

Catcat just nudged me, wondering if I couldn't put out just a LITTLE bit more food -- I told him wait til bedtime in an hour or so
