We had quite a night. Absolutely no sleep. I fed her 12.5% every 1/2 hour through the night.
By +5 she hit Lo on the Libre sensor.
I was finally able to get a reading on the handheld at +7, she was 77 so a nice green.
Eventually the sensor stopped reading. Sensor came back around shot time then stopped working :blackeye:
Oof. Hate when this happens.
New Libre installed by 6:30 am. :banghead::blackeye:
Waiting for it to warm up. (Holds breath that it’s working correctly)

She also vomited around 4 am (+10) foamy bile, which is rare for get (it’s usually fur that she vomits).
I suppose it could be that she had an abundance of food overnight, which is more than she normally has.
Then I heard her stomach gurgling, which I’ve actually never heard before. Hoping this all passes as it’s new to me:(
Looks like another low cycle today. I could use a nap!!
Have a safe day everyone :cat:

Oh boy, what a night for you and Ivy.
Sorry you had no sleep!
On top of that, the sensor stopped working o_O
But what a great job to keep her afloat and get some handheld numbers! :)
Looks like Ivy's on her way up now. Hope you get some quiet time and rest today :bighug:
Gosh, these girls. They just run our lives!
Wishing you a calmer day, Staci! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Oh boy what a night for you and Ivy!
She definitely knows how to keep things exciting for you but man settle down Ivy, mama needs a break.
As always you handled everything purrrrrfectly ❤️
Hopefully you can find some time to squeeze in a nap today.
Stay safe Ivy!

Oh Staci, I am so sorry you had such a difficult night with Ivy! You must be so exhausted today and I am sure the vomiting and the louds from her stomach made you worry. I would also think, that she just had an unusual amount of food and had problems to digest.

Looks like she is stable now. I am sorry to read about the sensor. This is really something nobody needs in situations like that. And I can imagine that Ivys was not that patient anymore, after all the poking. I hope tonight it will be more stable and you can make up some sleep. And tell Ivy she needs to make a lot of biscuits to make up for that. :cat:

I send lots of hugs to the best cat mom in the universe! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I'm sorry it was such a rough night - I hope you were able to get a nap today. She seems to have responded with a bounce, so maybe tonight you'll be able to get some sleep tonight? Maybe even in your own bed! :bighug::bighug:

Wow, Staci you had a rough night! Sorry, you didn't get any sleep.
Ugh, that damn Libre :banghead: I hate when that happens to. I get so nervous when it stops working.
Looks like Ivy is bouncing, I hope you can get rest tonight.
Wishing you both a calm night and safe surfing, Ivy!
Butch and I sending hugs :bighug::cat::bighug:
