Sorry, I haven’t put these in the spreadsheet yet. The low glucose alarm woke me up at 6:50 this morning, which would’ve been +8.5
I have it set for 75. I came downstairs and checked him. The Libra said 102 the actual ear poke said 138 so I’m confused as to why I got the low glucose alarm
The numbers on the left of this chart are the Libra readings the ones on the right are the meter readings. Should I be giving him his normal dose or should I reduce .25 immediately? His dose is due to be given in the next 10 minutes
He has only been on the 2.5 for two days

Hi Rosie, you probably got the Libre alarm because Watson must have hit 75 and by the time you got downstairs, he bounced up and what you saw was a 102.

From my personal experience, the numbers that you have as Libre numbers compared to the handheld meters do not look out of line to me.
When I test Ivy with a handheld and she is in a low range, the handheld meter is somewhat higher, normally.

Other people I have noticed the numbers can be closer together. So I think you have to have an idea of how your handheld meter usually reads compared to the Libre. It’s not always the same every time.
And if they are low, we want to test them with a handheld meter if possible.
Hope you both have a safe day. Hugs to Watson from me and Ivy :bighug::bighug:
