11/15 Elsie; AMPS: 152; +2: 91; +4: 61; +6: 91; +9: 169; PMPS: 218; +2.25: 231

Nice +2 there :D ,hope you see some more greens today and Elsie surfs safely :bighug::cat:
How is the neuropathy ,has it improved a little?
I can suggest something if you would like :cat:
@Kat & Elsie
Just did her +4 and she was at 61! I will definitely make sure to get a +6 to see if she goes up or down from here. I did feed her snack #2 right after testing, so it might not drop too much lower, but we'll see.

Neuropathy is about the same, but she hasn't been in reliably green numbers all that long? At least it has not gotten worse. It has seen some improvement over when she was first diagnosed, so that's something. I have been slacking on getting the higher dose methyl b-12 ordered up, but I do still plan to give that. Hopefully it will help, and I'm open to any suggestions!

Neuropathy can take longer to resolve in some cats. Bandit took around 6 months. But like you said, its only been a week in better numbers :-)

PMPS took us back into yellow territory, BUT, Elsie was extra determined to snack on Alex's dinner tonight. She escaped confinement and got some food in her about 20 minutes before the test. :confused: Probably because I moved her afternoon snack to mid-morning.

Is Alex also on a low carb canned diet?
Not fully, but for tonight he was eating the Fancy Feast, so at least it was safe for Elsie to have some.

I'm still trying to find a wet food that's LC and low phosphorus that he is willing to eat (he has kidney disease). He turns his nose up at most of them. For dinner, he always has a can of wet food, though he eats dry during the day. We can usually keep Elsie out of the dry food. There are a couple of flavors he likes which are suitable for both cats, but not many, and he is too picky to eat the same thing every day. So we let him have some of Elsie's LC wet varieties, even though it's not the best for him, because we'd rather he eat something than nothing (and his dry food is Rx kidney care so he gets mostly appropriate food).

So, I'm noticing a trend that Elsie's numbers like to go up for the PM+2, but then drop back down again later, for a lower AMPS the next day. Is there a reason the night time number would be going up like that at first (maybe some residual bouncing?) Should I stay up and monitor her all through the night at this point or wait until we start seeing lower daytime greens?

She seems to be bouncing in the first part of the PM cycle (from lower numbers she sees in the AM cycle) but sometimes also clears the bounce by the end of the cycle. I wouldn't really bother staying up when she is in yellow. Maybe try and get a +3 instead of a +2 and see if she has a later onset. Does she have access to food after you've gone to bed? This will be more important as she starts seeing lower numbers overall.
