I came home from work tonight and Ruby is very sniffly. My poor baby girl. If she's still sniffly by Monday I am going to take her to the vet to get some Famciclovir. Her numbers might be slightly up because she's feeling poopy.

Not sure. Wendy mentioned that the color change was due to her SCL, and I found this that corroborates her theory but it doesn't explain why: https://www.animalwised.com/my-cat-s-fur-is-changing-color-3760.html

Ruby's been hiding this evening and not eating much. I even broke out her beloved MC when I just checked and she went down 80 points since PMPS but isn't that interested in food. Hope she will find her feeder overnight and keep herself safe.

Oh my poor Ruby girl, I feel awful for her. I hope she won't need a vet visit, but if she does the famciclovir worked great for Tyler . Give her kisses for me Katherine. I hope she eats tonight and stays safe

We are doing fine, thanks for asking from time to time we get some scare but thank God up until now everything is fine

it is interesting that you mention the orange patch, Chico used to have an orange coloring as well, wasn’t specifically a patch but was pretty localized… now he seems to have gone back to fully gray… i used to think it was because of sun or age… i will read the article you shared
