Holy Cow Katherine, let us know how Ruby is when you get home. How's her cold :bighug::bighug::bighug:
How's Olive doing , I hope she doesn't catch Ruby's cold :bighug::bighug::bighug:
Hi Auntie Diane! She was still sniffly this morning. I got home a few minutes ago and she seems fine, no sniffles. I was giving Olive the lysine too in case that helped to prevent her from catching it. She is totally fine, running around and jumping everywhere to be close to me.
Yeah, thanks for making me eat my words, Ruby. :rolleyes: The reason she may have dropped is she usually gets a second meal around +3/+4 and today no one was home and the sitter didn’t come until later.

I'm glad my Ruby is ok and she's running around like crazy, I'm glad Olive is good too. Have a nice night Katherine , Glad you have the next 2 days off, Am I correct you have Mondays off :bighug::bighug:

Trying out another constipation remedy: Coco Therapy Hairball Plus. Learned about it in the IBD group. Ruby's poops are ginormous and the Lactulose might be the culprit. The stuff is 100% pure coconut. Added a little to her food tonight in the hopes it will make a difference.

Which IBD group are you in?

Do you mix that in food? Right now my cats are not liking psyllium husks mixed in their food at all. It definitely makes them eat less.

Raw Feeding for IBD Cats on FB. I have followed much of their supplements advice for both Ruby and Olive because of their respective GI issues. They were also very good support for me when I started feeding raw.

Yes, before I prepare Ruby’s food I put the Coco Therapy in with her Kibow, Visbiome, and Viralys in her bowl, add water and then stir it all up with her food. Many people have used the Coco with success on the IBD group. The coconut is in small flakes and it smells pretty good. Maybe your kitties will like it. It’s marketed primarily as a hairball remedy to help fur pass through the gut.

Good Sunday morning Katherine:) How is Ruby feeling today? Nice blue start. I hope the new additive helps her poop situation :p . I know it just worked for me and my girls but I still swear by the wheat or oat grass for nausea, vomiting, constipation and hairballs. It always seemed when Dolly was in any tummy distress she would chomp away at the grass. It was a little sad just because Dolly had so few teeth she was challenged when tearing the grass blades. Towards the last few weeks I was giving her Dr Elsey’s and more than half would fall out of her mouth.

Wishing you a relaxing day off, Ruby to be feeling better and big hugs to all of you. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
