Yesterday's Worst Case Condo
Cinco just can't seem to get below the blue floor, so we pulled the trigger this morning and raised him to 1.0. I'm hoping this will kickstart something. Next Wednesday is his appointment to get a new prescription, so maybe new jus will make the difference, but I'd like to see some action before then. He is still doing really well - demanding backrubs and cleaning his plate and otherwise being Cinco. ♡
I just want to say THANK YOU so much to everyone who has visited our condos in the past couple of days and offered words of comfort and support. It means a great deal to me.

Minka showed up for breakfast and ate a few bites with enthusiasm, then walked away. She came back half an hour later and ate some more, but still no CPC. I waited a little while and then took the plate upstairs to her, where she greeted me with a Meow and cleaned the plate. I gave her another spoonful and she ate that, too! I'll be giving her fluids shortly.
Harvey ate a bite or two of his food and went off to lay on the windowsill in the sun. He doesn't seem to want to eat. I found the Azodyl tablet I thought I got into him last night on the floor this morning and we had another wrestling match. I think I won. I believe future pillings will have to involve the cat sack. He's pretty close to full strength again. I left a message for Dr. C to let her know that Minka is eating and that I got an appointment, and I also asked if I can give Harvey Mirtz. I don't want to do it without her okay.
Sasha got her Mirtz this morning and an hour later greeted her breakfast with enthusiasm. She cleaned her plate.
So I'm just down to one that won't eat. Beats the heck out of two days ago!
It sounds terrible, but I am SO glad my in-laws opted out of coming up for Thanksgiving. The house is a disaster and I am in no shape to be entertaining anyone. We have been invited to have dinner tomorrow with friends, and I am baking two pies to take. I love to bake, so this is a good thing. I hope everyone else's Thanksgiving plans are working out well.
