12/29, Boomer, +10.5=130, need to shoot early, help

Middle of the night numbers:
+5.75=96
+7.75=129
Not sure what to do. I need to shoot an hour early or not at all I guess. Help!

I'm not sure when to give him his shot tonight because I gave him his shot an hour early this morning. His normal PMPS time is 8:30.

Also, I think he did pretty well considering I only gave him .25u instead of .50 because I was scared.

So.....the final questions: do I give him .5 and at what time?

yes, you should give 0.5 and it should be given at +12 from his last shot. Nice day for Boomer!

Hi Libby-

The same thing that happened to me last night (on the phone with BF in an intense convo) almost happened again tonight - and all of a sudden it's time to shoot. I gave him the insulin without a PMPS #. I'll test at +2. Bad Mommy!
He's been ravenous, but I think he's just a piggy as opposed to being "diabetic hungry" because he's regulated now, right?
