BG 8.8 (158) fed MM + shot

WCR: Not too excited about breakfast, but did eat most with a little chicken dust encouragement. Very quiet, Magic Poop at +12.5, and then....sounds like a hairball brewing, couple liquid pukeys, small, some hair. I think he's about once every 2 months for one, maybe once a month, either way, not frequent. He's still kinda quiet, sitting kitty-like, but I hear purring when I pet him.

Well, I noticed Jill came on my condo last nite to tell us she was "watching"...so I told Luna this morning, "Jill is watching us, whatcha think?" "Meow, burp 158." :lol: Thanks little buddy, that's a big help.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day! Gonna visit our friends condo's today as things are settling in and getting the hang of the new board.

Guess what? Tomorrow is New Year's Eve! And a Blue-Full Moon oh boy double whammy. Luna is getting his party hat ready..watch for it :mrgreen:
 
Can't wait to see Luna's party hat. I get the same thing with Max with the liquidy vomit with a little hair in it about once a month and shoot some hairball medicine into him. Luckily it dosn't happen more often. Uh Oh Luna - Miss Jill is watching :lol:

WCR:...he's not eating, he's coming around, quietly, but isn't interested...didnt eat +1 MM, hasn't touched +2 MM...he's purring and scratchy up the couch, watching the dirty pigeons, normal things, but no food since AMPS, which he ate some of.

around +1 he looked like he was hiccuping, so I think that evil hairball still in there...pooee
 
Oh come on Luna, spit it out already!

Morris doesn't get hairballs because he has pretty short hair and also doesn't groom himself all that much...he was fat for so long and couldn't reach most places that the never developed the habit I guess. Still he does that liquidy pukus every so often too...maybe there's hair in there that I can't see...LOL
 
I hope Luna feels better soon and gets that hairball spit out in time to party with the moon tomorrow.

WCR: it's now +9.5 and he hasn't eaten since the bit from AMPS....he def not feeling good, I have paper towel in front of him ready to catch his treasures!
I also found a big pile of dried up pukey food, prob about 6-8 hours old, so this would of been the +9 MM DBF gave him, will ask him when he gets up.

sigh, this could go both ways, sky high or too low with not nuff food in his belly...from previous times like these, he comes around by noon famished, so we'll see.

I can't even take his picture, he is not impressed and looks like a bag of pooh.
 
Sorry Luna's slow on the improvement. Is there any tiny bit of his favorite special eats that you can coax him with? If nothing else, it will tell you how badly he really is feeling right about now.
Then again, maybe he just needs some down time with no coddling and poking.

here's hoping he comes around by noon-ish as is his fashion.

i nominate this condo for the most hilarious of the week! If Luna is anything like my kiddos, he'll wait until the middle of the night. I think they get a lot of pleasure of watching us as the hacking, hairball noise jerks us out of a dead sleep. :lol:

Here's wishing Luna hacks one up soon and goes back to being Luna!

WCR: he ate a bit at +4.5, and at +5.5 threw up some liquidy stuff with his treats...I know there's a hairball in there somewhere! lol

he began playing thou - and napped a bit and now is cleaning his toes....so I guess #'s go up and do I really wanna know what PMPS awaits us? lol

So glad to hear of the toe cleaning activity; I know Shadoe's feeling pretty peachy when she tends to her toes.

Let's cross our clean toes for a decent pmps.

And then they park that wet, squooshy hairball right where you will step on it in the pitch dark on your way to the bathroom at 3:00am. Not that that's ever happened to me.... oh no, no. My kitties are way too polite to do that. Hahahahaha!!!

Nice party hat, Luna. oooh, party hats... is it cold?... (yes, I'm a 12 year old)

WCR: Luna pretty much refused food all morning, had a nibble at lunchtime, refused his +9 MM, and finally came around at +10.5 for his dish, I let him eat it cuz it's better he eats than no food. So we might see food spike cuz he ate within the illegal time.
Overall, restless throughout the day, kept wanting to be in the same room as me, following me around, napping, couple more poops...got him to play a little while I took his picture.

We'll see what PMPS brings, I'm glad he finally ate more thou.
And no hairball as of yet. DBF says he went pukey for his +9 MM early this morning, so that makes two food pukies in total from that meal and a couple liquidy ones after AMPS. Maybe whatever was up his butt has passed. :?

Heading out soon, he's got food by his side, I am comfortable with this cuz he has been getting up from his laying around to eat this evening.

Nice numbers for Luna today!

You guys are lucky to find those hairballs on the floor. When one of my crew feels one coming on they run straight for the BED! :o I'm not quite sure if it's retaliation or a place where they feel safe, but it happens every time. Hmmmm

now about that hairball... have any vetbasis hairball gel or some petroleum jelly?

I can pick some up, never used anything for their hairballs, both don't get them as much as they use.
Usually just let it ride out, we came home a while ago and did a search for anything, but nothing was found.
Luna did do more small poops than usual throughout the day, I caught him at the box at least 4 times doing little ones. lol

Right now, he just ate really well, a bit snack. Looking alert and bright eyed. But yea, I can get something for those pesky hairballs to have on hand.

vetbasis isn't easy to find. i usually buy 8 - 10 tubes at a time and keep it in the refrigerator because it's so hard to get, but it's one of the very few hairball remedies (also helps with constipation) safe for diabetics. most of the others have sugar of some sort. many here use petroleum jelly, unsalted butter, or salmon oil...
