Amy-- sounds like some stress in your household--Stress can raise Bg sometimes..Maybe isolate wacky cat at nite, to relieve that? Maybe try it for one night? You are dong a great Job here..Patience & consistancy is what works with lantus..Also it's a full moon & known to raise BGs-

I know I was stressed out last night so I assume Six was too. Six is a recent move-in. He's never cared for the other cats, but his health issues forced him to move in. He's been managing well but he is not a cat that likes conflict. Meghan was in one of her moods (sure it's related to the full moon) and was harassing other cats in the house.

Six's new digs are in our one spare bedroom so I can't isolate Meghan, but maybe next time I will close his door so he doesn't have to listen to all the drama. Didn't think about that. Thanks for the pep talk...I noticed on others postings today some high numbers too. Glad to hear it could be a full moon effect.

Aside from Meghan being a bit of a terror last night, Six is probably experiencing a bit of new dose wonkiness (NDW). See this post on NDW and shed from Jill. I hope this clears quickly.

Hope Six comes down during the day....stress can elevate and so can the effects of the moon...
but ECID...each cat is different...

Well, at least he's coming down...just made into the yellows!

Is he a moon kitty or is it NDW? Either way, Six wants to know if he can come to Shadow and Raja's party?

There is a New Year's Eve party for all kitties who like to go to the Moon when it is full...Bee is invited by the host,
Shadow the Moon King....so tell Bee to drop by anytime tonight....crash helmets are provided....just in case...
(there was talk of scuba diving tomorrow...but they have to see how tonight goes...LOL)

Thanks for the NDW info Sienne... I went back and re-read the Filling the Shed and the link you sent. Think I had read that the first couple of days on the board and it didn't make sense then...ha ha, what a few weeks will do!
