Another night of howling, this time starting at 1:30am... I finally caved and opened the feeder and let him free-feed the rest of the night. It helped some.

I've been thinking he's mad that he can no longer go outside. Then I'm thinking he's constipated. Then I'm thinking painful UTI. Occasional puddles outside the litter box (mad because he cannot go outside) show light clear urine. Finally, this morning, there are pebbles in the box. So perhaps it's constipation from the a/b (which are now finished)...

Off to Health to research safe poop meds...

May have inadvertantly discovered the cause of the howling at night.

Today was the weekly vet visit for the ImmunoRegulin injection. Dr. P lifted Stash's tail, popped in the thermometer, and out came tapeworm segments. Stash has been dewormed... Dr. P sent home meds for the dogs... and DD is talking to her OB today to make sure she's not at risk for anything.

When is this poor cat going to catch a break these days? Did I mention he broke off his remaining top fang by trying to pry his way out of the closed doggy door?
