Well I think I expected this so no surprises here. Definitely gave a good shot this morning. Whew!
Alex seems to be going through some kind of weird phase...even for him. He just really will not shut up and I am starting to lose my mind. Right now he is quiet but it's the first time other than when he is sleeping. I'm thinking that maybe it had something to do with the fll_moon and that it's starting to wear off and that he'll go back to his 'normal' mischief and yakking. I actually had to close him in the bathroom this morning so he would leave me alone for 5 minutes so I could think....and then I felt awful.

And last night for the very first time since he got dx'd he came on my pillow with me after i turned off the light, and cuddled into my shoulder and nuzzled up against me really purring loudly. He's all mixed up...not to mention what he's doing to me....could all of this constant rambling be senility? (he has always talked a lot but not to this degree and he hasn't always been hungry all of the time)

morning everyone out there in LL :-D

Re: 2/1 Alex AMPS HI

Hope he comes down soon Caryl...is he eating ok and plenty?

He's so yappy, I wonder what he talks about  lol

Re: 2/1 Alex AMPS HI

Let's hope his numbers become better. And he himself of course too.
Eum... you got earplugs? :?

Re: 2/1 Alex AMPS HI

I can relate Spooky is yapping at me at least 3/4 of the day. He follows me from room to room he tries to climb up my legs (or goes stright up my back with claws!) if I don't pay attention to him. It's not always about food either, if I pick him up and stand looking out the window or something he is quite and makes kneading movements with his paws. At night he never sleeps with me but he gets on the bed and starts digging the blanket near my back like he is going to make a poop in a litterbox. I guess he is burying me, then he gets down and sleeps on the office chair. My daughter and say about 20 times a day "Spooky SHUT UP!" He doesn't purr though he never has (I don't think he can) when you listen really carefully he snorts a little like funny breathing sounds, I think that's a sort of purring. Sometimes I'm happy to leave the house because I can't take it anymore. When I go outside for a smoke he stands at the glass door and howls at me. Socks doesn't like the smell of my stinky leather gloves I wear smoking and he tries to bury them when I leave them on the diningroom table after I come in. :-D

I hope Alex gets some better numbers today and gives you a little peace. I have closed cats in the bathroom too for various reasons (fighting, driving me nuts etc...)

He's starting to come down already. He always eats PLENTY. That is never a problem
I have no idea what he is yapping about...I wish I could understand
