Yesterday's Condo

WCR ~ Shadow did his usual with his & Raja's dishes: they are so clean when he finishes with them! Spotless! I measured out my harpoon and when I went back, there he was on the testing towel! He only does that twice a day after eating and I love to see that...as if he actually knows and remembers... After all other snacks he goes on his merry way. I think the Levemir made him smarter. :lol: Now, if it would only work on his BGs I'd be thrilled.

He just ran down the hallway after using the LB (there were poops last night) Now he is doing the Call of the Wild in the living room and I am not sure what that means...."I am a MALE. Hear me ROAR"?
Raja is snuggled in a ball on DH's recliner after her breffis. (saying a sarcastic "Yeah, RIGHT :roll:" in answer to his howling!!
They got into a wrestling match a couple of times yesterday....and that was without catnip! She is the instigator though....I witnessed it so many times so i know the truth...she lies on her back and swipes at him with her paws.
He tries to ignore her but she finally succeeds in getting him to react. It's so cute when they do that....

It is 56 degrees and very gray and nasty here. Looks like rain. But it is really freezing......freezing cold Brrrrrrrr...
(That's Florida whining lingo.... ;-) )

As a side note: I hadn't finished my first cup of ~O) when I came online and saw Jan's first post of the day...It read:
"Should I shoot Monique??"
And I thought in my fuzzy state "Well, wonder what she has done to Jan....she can be scary with that shovel when she is in a bad mood, but SHOOT her...???? Shooting is just so radical...
My ~O) finally made me smarter.... ~O)

Ha I missed that,, no please don't shoot me!!!!!!! I didn't do anything wrong I swear :mrgreen: I guess I was a little to into my thoughts to to notice how it read. I hope she measnt Monique, Should I shoot? She may want to shoot me later though nailbite_smile

Nice to see Shadow isn't on the upper floors, he seems to be content in the middle. Hope his numbers go the right way today, I'm planning a pajama party for you guys sometime this week. :mrgreen:

I realized soon enough what jan meant but my mind was not awake when I first read it......I had to giggle.....

Thanks for letting me know ahead of time what Shadow will do this week....I have one backup box of test strips and plenty of gravy at the moment. He obeys your command...or, I should say, you can always tell what he is about to do....you said once that you don't give him orders but you predict....right? You are always so right in your predictions! :mrgreen:

I saw that too, but didnt *see* it that way until you pointed it out! hahaha! Too funny!

Glad shadow didnt get numbers jumbled again and end up with a 841 this a.m.

Im not saying anymore about numbers though..

Love the report on the furries this morning. Sounds like everybody in the house is very happy :-D Now let's see some good numbers to go along with all these great reports on you Shadow.

Thank you for your very kind words in Gabby's condo. I wish I could get to everyone's condo every day. In part, the new board still confuses the heck out of me - I can't track easily where I've been! It's also great to see how many kitties are doing so well. I learn something from each of the SS.

I love the WCR. So Raja is the instigator? Gizmo is the troublemaker over here. And 56 degrees is cold? Come to Chicago for a visit! We'll show you what cold is all about.

With this good place to start, I'm hoping Shadow is going to show you some blues and greens today.

Your condos are so much fun to read.
Cold in Florida 56 degrees? Yes I know is is Florida whining but gee, it's only -30 here in Canada. At least its sunny.

Glad Shadow and Raja are having fun playing. I love that "lying on the back to swip with a paw move." We get that here too.

Shadow and Raja have spent the entire day so far on my bed....since it is so "freezing" and gray outside, they are in their winter mode and staying where it's warm and comfy. I got into cleaning mirrors and insides of windows. Oh...and vacuuming. No wonder they are still in my bedroom!

They will be out when they hear the micro wave heating their water for their +8 snack. It is the weirdest thing...I am calling them Pavlov's cats....I have been doing an experiment. I say nothing and just heat the water and start fussing in the kitchen. I turn and there are two little kitties suddenly sitting at attention right there at my feet. The familiar sounds of their Bean getting a snack ready. (of course, most of the times Raja has been sitting at my feet pointing to her watch about half hour before the scheduled snack time....that worried "I am so starving" look in her eyes.... :lol: )

Shadow and Raja showed up right on time for snacks...he was blue finally...175. yay. doubt he will hold that till PMPS time, but it was nice to see today!

Ya, I was mopping the floor, when "Ms. I never leave my throne during the day" got up and decided to sit right in the middle of the floor!!! :-Q Now I have a clean floor, minus the kitty shaped blob of dirtiness! :lol: I then moved into the hall to clean her litter box area so she cant eat any litter today...at least until she stashes more in the corners of the house...but she is laying almost right next to it...ON GUARD!

Hows about we have Raja and Shadow come talk to Latte about where you should be when your bean is cleaning!

Glad Shadow came down, even if for a little while!

I only googled the cat and came up with the wrong name. (I keep remembering Eddie Murphy doing his version pf Mr. Rogers on SNL and I can't stop giggling,,,LOLOL )

And Pat, I'm with you, 56 is COLD! It was 30 here last night, brrrrrrr, thought I was gonna die. I lived in Iowa and Minnesota for most of my adult life, but I moved south to get warm, not to be scraping the car in 30 degree weather in Charleston! At least here winter only lasts like a week and it's gone. :razz:

Reading this thread reminded me of my childhood imaginary friend named DeeDee. She looked like Lady Elaine from Mr Rogers. Creepy looking woman!
 
I think I got a good dose of interesting imagery from this condo before I go to bed... Did I mention I've been having nightmares a lot frequently?

And this affects my cat's health how? I keep waking him up when he's sleeping next to me for comfort, ha!

Anyways, I'm super glad to see him up to his usual self of chomping away at others breakfast and being a blue boy for the night shift! I thoroughly enjoy your condos, as well :mrgreen:
