no, sadly 66 pts is probably just a fluctuation.. he's flatlined. You can do 1 of the following if he's as high tomorrow as he is now:
1. go up, way up, close to where you were.. 5u, 4.5u or even 4u, it's off protocol, however, so was the 3u reduction
2. go back to 6.25u which is 1/4u under your last good dose and work on that shed
3. stick to 3u and revisit this tomorrow night
Which do you think you would be interested in doing? I am worried about you losing your forward progress, but I am hopeful that since we know he can break that we can do it again fairly quickly, so I'm not frantic yet. If it were me, I would probably skip returning to full dose tomorrow morning and do it tomorrow night. I am trying to get Jojo pinned down but she's got a ton of medical problems right now and her time is very limited.
My gut tells me we should not have held this dose at 3u, but I feel sure we can get him back to where he was. It just might take some time.
Now.. if you wake up and he's somewhere in the mid 200s or so, HOLD THE DOSE!!
If you wake up and he's low but over 100, hold the dose. Under that, shoot BCS dose or no dose if you catch him dropping from a low number prior to AMPS.
I don't think you need to get spot checks tonight if you can get one 45 mins to an hour before preshot. You're sick and you need your sleep.
