2/18 RICO AMPS 80, +6 70, PMPS 84 - Changes in diet & meds

Rico refuses to eat his usual food since last night so I gave in and let him eat dry food rather than let him starve. The vet added one more medication (Diarsanyl+) for a couple of days and gave me GI Royal Canin wet food to mix with his kibble for at least a week. I'm worried that all these changes might affect his BG.

Sorry to hear this. It’s possible but he needs to be treated for what’s wrong. All you can do is up his insulin if that happens. When will you get labs back?
