Yesterday's Condo

WCR: Basically the same start to the day as yesterday.* Shadow polished both bowls and was waiting for the harpoon when I went back into the room. I pet him and tell him how strong he looks and how beautiful his skin is as I tent his fur and then he jumps up and goes to leave as if to say "That was easy ...I hardly felt anything!" :lol:
Of course I laugh and grab him again saying "Whoa...I didn't shoot you yet" :lol:

WBR: :twisted: Ok...we got him where we want him now!!! :twisted: hee hee....
See that AMPS? Added to the PMPS last night...it is perfect! Our plan has worked. :roll: Ok, ok...we've been aiming for this since August, I know, I know... :roll: Hoping his liver will get used to the nice blues and RELAX a little....
I'd better not say nuttin again...

Yup I saw MY shadow today, so what does that mean? Since we don't have a groundhogs day here, there is instead a Farmer's rule that applies to the 2nd of Feb.

When on Lichtmess (2.Feb) it storms and snows then the spring is not far, When on Lichtmess the sun does shine, it will be a later spring.

So today began grey and cold with little flurries, before lunchtime it was full sunshine and the snow was melting. Now late afternoon it is again cloudy and tonite it will snow...........So which way does it go?

Let's hope for Pat's Shadow it goes down, down.....green, a color I long to see (not just on a spreadsheet) :mrgreen:

We have our own groundhogs here in Long Island-Malverne Mel!! and Holtsville Hal!!-Both saw their Shadow--6 more weeks!!

Quentin the Quahog Day. Should he drool out of the right side of his “mouth” we are done with winter. Otherwise, it's six more weeks of the same ...
We don't have anything like that in Florida... :lol:

(I just read that PETA wants him replaced with an electronic groundhog -- a robotic Phil.
PETA says that Phil is forced to be on display year round at the local library and is denied the ability to prepare for and enter yearly hibernation. Add to that the displeasure of large, screaming crowds, flashing lights of cameras, and human handling. If Punxsutawney frees Phil, then the bitter winter that's made him into an unwilling media attraction will end, making way for a sunny spring that everyone can enjoy,)

Yes, Pat, I need to get back on the harpoons...bought the shorties by mistake and can't waste anything so am using....but much happier with the harpoons....plus they bring (you know) .... :mrgreen:

I'm a PA transplant so know old Punx Phil well...plus I'm Pennsy Dutch - we called it Grundsow Day (can't spell it but that's how it sounded). Bummer, six more weeks of winter .... ha, ha but not here, right Pat???? I see summer just around the corner. :lol: :lol: :lol:

oh gosh Shadow,,,is this a bounce u think Pat? I guess u could grab some sleep tonight, or - maybe not - he's sneaky that way.
